I have been banking through United one for the last 8 years now and never once have I had an issue, until this most recent update as of 8/15/22. I went to log into the app as to check how a pending check was going in terms of dropping into my account and was told to update the app, so I did. However, the sec puns that I went to go and try to log back into my account the app now began telling me “Device error: Missing device id. Please restart the application.” And no matter what I do (I’ve tried closing and restarting the app, offloading and reloading it onto my phone, among other things) it keeps giving me the error. However if I click the join button at the bottom and log in to the website page it pulls up it lets me in now problem, it’s incredibly frustrating since I’m not like trying to use a new phone or anything like that.Show lessNew app needs tweaking
The new look app launch is fine and the interface is clean but could use a bit of tweaking. On the old app, there was the ability to more easily and conveniently switch between accounts. If you had a few accounts, it would remember your username and you could use face ID to fill in the pw info. The new app does not allow for that but rather a complete close and sign in again with the pw is needed. Also the Face ID does not allow for multiple accounts. Which ever one you choose to use Face ID with is the only one it will work on unless you log in and select that option again. But the. That removes that option from the other account(s).
The app seems stable and does not crash but is not as easy to use as the old one was. Please look into this.Show lessLimited
It would be a much better app if you didn't have to use a computer and login to the website to navigate so many critical options.
