Highly misleading and disappointing
As an ex French resident, keen not to lose touch with the language, I was delighted to spot this app, downloaded it and paid £5.99 for ad removal.
Big mistake. Why?
I contacted Customer Services when I couldn’t get the app to work - I should add I have the GB version of it too - and got this reply:
“Dear user,
Thank you for your feedback.
Due to legal issues, users who are in the UK can only listen to UK radio stations.
Best regards,
Support team”
Does it state anywhere in the app that you can only listen to UK stations in the UK?
It even states in French that listeners can enjoy using the app abroad.

Rubbish! Just pop up ads
The radio stations don’t play. All you get are pop up ads for Temu and similar. This is a con.
Please add Podcast episodes sorting by date
Please add ability to sort podcast episodes by date, oldest first. Currently they are sorted only by newest first, and when the episodes are played one after another, I hear them going back in time. I want to hear them going forward in time.
Disappointing oversaturated ads
Used to love the app, now it is full of constant agressive pop up ads which prevents you from listening to anything until it runs its course, extremely annoying.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We're sorry for this, we know ads are annoying but it's what makes it possible to maintain the app free. We try to balance it as much as we can. You can support us and exclude the visual ads by making the no-ads purchase in the in-app store. We hope this helps! Regards.
No stations are working
It’s a great app in general for someone learning to speak French. I’ve paid for the one-time purchase to avoid getting ads, but now none of the stations are playing, and I’m not sure why.
