What's New in World Clock Time Zone Widgets
1.22.4
December 13, 2024
Adding a new clock is better than ever! Preview details about a city before you add it, and get search results from the Internet — no more “missing” cities! (Requires iOS 16+)
Seconds in Live Activities — New option to show seconds on the Lock Screen Live Activity.
Improved Live Activity on Apple Watch — With iOS 18.1 and watchOS 11.1, the Live Activity is now optimized for the Smart Stack on your Apple Watch.
Update 1.22.1 fixes a couple minor issues with city abbreviations and web search results. Updates 1.22.2-4 fix potential crashes on older OSes.
If your widgets are blank or “stuck” after the update, please try restarting your device. If that doesn't work, try deleting the widget and adding it again. If problems continue, please email adam@overdesigned.net — thanks so much!
UPDATE 2024-Dec-10 The Lock Screen widget is working again after app reinstall post phone software update to the latest version 18.1.1 ☺️. Back to 5 stars 🌟! The reply from the developer is much appreciated also! 🙏.
Loved this app until recent updates that caused the widget for Lock Screen to no longer refresh itself so the world times and dates remains on standstill and doesn’t update to correct current time/date. Please fix so I can bring this app back to the 5 stars that it used to deserve!

Response from developer
Thank you for your feedback! Widgets sometimes get “stuck” after an update; this is a longstanding iOS bug, unfortunately. Restarting your device should fix it; if the problem continues, please try deleting the widget and adding it again. And if you still see issues, please email adam@overdesigned.net so I can help. Otherwise, I hope this will bring the app back up to 5 stars for you!
