Once again, our Eipix friends have given us a terrific game. Gorgeous graphics (especially Venice, and I have been there!), good cut-scenes. This was a crime story, a nice change from horror or fairy tales. This game played flawlessly and had instantaneous load between locations. It had a diary, a strategy guide, and clearly stated objectives that updated automatically as you progressed though the game. The inventory was labeled and there was a teleport map with marked tasks (the best kind for those of us who are lazy and hate running around!) The HO scenes were either silhouettes, lists, or using one object to unlock another object. There was a nice variety of puzzles and mini-games. You had to find audio tapes to progress through the game, and an old camera, where you had to find specific filters and then adjust the camera to snap a picture to lead you to your next clue.
I loved this game, but the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there were too many collectibles (fox statues, letters, and travel notes, as well as morphing objects), which I find very distracting! Also, to access the map and diary you must first go into the menu. Why can't there just be tabs for them? So much easier! In addition, the game wasn't long enough, even with bonus play. But there were NO RATS, just one cute mouse that you feed with cheese. Seriously, did I just say it was cute? I must still be exhausted from my trip!
A big shout out to my incredible Dream Team! Question for you guys? Can I play Forsaken Souls, or is it full of RATS? Moonbeam played but didn't say! Also you guys need to play Questerium, which is a G5 game. It played flawlessly since they updated it immediately and it had all the things we like in it!
Does anybody know where Bunkie is? Sunshine Susie, I hope you will consider my offer. Your reviews are in-depth and detailed, and you would be a great asset to the team!
To Snooper, Nambr, Dracyy, Moonbeam, Hossie, Blueflier, Bunkie and lil' Jo, as well as my other fans, I send ❤️💋❤️💋 from Lynxie!
