Used to work (problem solved)
Don’t Update! This used to be a great tool! but since updating I am unable to connect to the scanner. It’s basically a useless 99 dollar plastic brick. I waited a couple weeks before writing this review hoping they would come up with a solution but nothing yet. What’s the hold up Bosch
Edit* app finally printed me to update firm ware on the device and while I don’t agree with all of there changes made it does scan and erase codes now so I am grateful

Wanted to give it 0 stars what it deserves but the least is 1
Trash not worth 100 it’s worth more like 10 or less so unreliable and slow and you can’t say it’s my phone because it’s the iPhone X and if a thousand dollar phone can’t be connected properly this product shouldn’t even be sold period thanks for the trash quality Bosch hop no one buys you’re trash again no technicians should buy this product absolutely trash and wast of time and money

Worked did update now it doesn’t
I didn’t have a choice with up date, before I could use it, now I can’t use it at all!!! Won’t connect with app when Bluetooth is connected, I went back and forth reconnecting, never got it working tried to call support, waited 20 min then was hung up on. Help
The old app was MUCH better
I’ve had this Mobile Scan device for several years now, and never had any serious problems.
I received a notice the software and firmware were updating. It turned my old faithful into a boat anchor. BOSCH, you’re better than that!
Please review this software and bring back what you had. This is garbage!

One of the best until last update
I bought this scanner a while back and appreciate the fact that everything is unlocked now but my main reason for buying was the live data feed with the vehicle driving and recording it to trouble shoot certain problems now that feature has been removed and this is just like any other scanner was a solid 5 stars until that feature was removed

Don’t waste your money
If you can get it to connect to the vehicle, it disconnects randomly and continues to fail on scans...which is its only job.
Tried on three Ford trucks (by the way, Ford is t listed in the Make Model list). 50% effort by Bosch on this one, at best. If you enjoy wasting hours of your life and $100, you should buy this app/device.

WAS tolerable... Now absolutely useless. Crap App
I have actually never written a review on an app before... But this new update made me so furious that I had to. This app was always glitchy and buggy but you could at least use it (somewhat) reliably to get the OBD trouble codes and the live data from your vehicle (best part). I actually went and bought the Bosch Bluetooth adapter just so I could use this app. However with this latest update, everything shuts off the second vehicle is moving rendering it absolutely useless for diagnosing any problems or any LIVE data whatsoever. (The genius responsible for letting this slide obviously has ZERO knowledge about vehicles in general but has absolutely NO business designing/developing an app for the automotive industry.) Several apps out there that would put this one to shame before... much less now. Absolutely unacceptable Bosch.
Save yourself the time and the headache and download “OBD Fusion” or something similar. You pay for it but the functionality and abilities it gives you is worth every single penny... learn from my mistake.

Latest Update to Firmware
Guys - your latest update to your firmware has turned this device into a brick. - did you even test it before releasing to the public? Please post that you are at least attempting to fix this issue. Used it 100’s of times before the latest update and would have given it a 5 star rating
Garbage return it to the store you bought it from
New update turn this once a decent tool into a plastic brick. The mere fact that you cannot look at the live data while the vehicle is moving makes it a useless diagnostic tool. Don’t waste your money.
Use it daily
Bought mine a while back , works well , phone died and I did a restore but couldn’t get my purchases back , went to check and now they are free and this fine BUT loosing the tool as soon as the car moves just KILLS ME , you have lost the graphing ability to check for intermittent issues when in motion , real downer. Plus someone stole my Caddy radio and took my fuel gauge with it , I was using this as a fuel gauge , now it’s a real pain. It’s always had a problem staying on a certain car , now it has to be unplugged every time you need to use it, on my car I have to stand on my head to find the plug. Please put it back where it works , it was so handy using it as an engine monitor underway . I miss my old working toolm
