Great ZX Spectrum App
Although I may come from America, I love the ZX Spectrum, with all its games, music, and many more. However, the only app on the App Store for the computer was Spectaculator, but on that, you have to buy, buy, buy. That is, until I found this app. And, it's from Elite Systems of all people! There was a collection of games that were free (except for Maniac Miner and Jet Set Willy), and another collection, but you have to buy them, and thank god the prices for all the games you have to buy are reasonable. For the free games, there are some gems (i.e. Beyond the Ice Palace). I won't explain more, as this review is long enough, but it's a must buy for fans for the black beauty.

Here we go again - updates..
I hoped my original review back in sept 15 would be wrong....but...people feel ripped off, paying twice for games , no updates , no founder machines , no more games.....buyers completely bomb jacked by elite and Mr Wilcox all over again..
Sept last year....
After paying for these exact games twice already via yet another elite app incarnation...I feel slightly ripped off...so lets home these versions don't go the same way...hope springs eternal elite....

I've already paid for these games, why would I buy them again?

Restore purchases a problem
Especially as there are bugs that force you to uninstall it and reinstall after an upgrade. After the last upgrade, the only way to make it go full screen in landscape was to uninstall and then reinstall. As you can't restore purchased games, this would force you to buy them all again. Very poor. Also some of the on screen keys and buttons don't work on iPad pro.

No "restore purchases" option
The app itself seems to work fine - not as attractive an interface as Spectaculator, but functional.
But after spending a lot of time looking, and an unanswered email to customer service, I can't find an option to restore purchases anywhere. So after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it seems I'm expected to buy any games that I purchased previously. Luckily I had only bought a couple of games, but it still seems pretty unacceptable to me.

Great port!
I was delighted to see that my favorite Speccy games were on the App Store. The prices are very reasonable, and the ports are well done. You can save your game at any point and there are 2 different control schemes. I like the Adaptive ones the best but the keyboard is great for nostalgia. I only have a few problems. For one, I really wish you used the music from the Atari 800 port of Jet Set Willy. It's really catchy and way better than the primitive bleeps and bloops of the Speccy port. I also really wish Jet Set Willy 2 was here, the last game in the Miner Willy series, since you have the first 2 games. As for other games I'd include:
