  • This game is not worth your time

The actual concept of the game is interesting, however there are multiple problems with it. One of them being ads. There are way too many adds, much more than most other games. I got one ad every two games(as a beginner they last less than 10 seconds.). Some of them you can just close out of immediately, however others last 15-30 seconds and you can't skip them. Also there is no instructions for the game. It took me about 4 games to understand relatively how to play the game. All the makers say is "easy to learn, hard to master." Which doesn't give you any clues of how to play. If you are looking for a good, no add spammed, instructions included game. Play SHREDD, which in my opinion is a far better conceived game than this one is.

  • Just play super hexagon

The gameplay is decent and the music is exciting but there are too many little annoying things that get in the way. Collisions when cutting it close to the edge are too strict. One pixel off the bar and you get punished. No back button on the purchase menu. No prices for anything listed. Customization options are lame. There are better examples of this genre on the app store.

  • Almost perfect, but...

First off, I love this game for its unique and minimalistic design. If offers a quick escape during the day as each game lasts as long as you can stay alive, which, even after playing for a few days, is never very long.

The psychedelic effects that manifest when you jump into an empty space are deliciously mind-bending. The game gets more visually weird as well as more frantic the longer you stay alive. Yet is not stressful to me like many time-based games (which is why I rarely download any games where I'm racing against a clock).

The only things preventing a 5-star rating are the inability to turn off sounds & music, and the length of some of the ads. There are ads lasting 15+ seconds, though these occur early in the game and don't seem to pop up too often after that. There is an option to purchase a "remove ads" upgrade, though no price is given until you select it and enter your password. For those curious, the price as of this writing (Jan. 31, 2015) to remove ads is $1.99. (I did not purchase this upgrade, as I was able to cancel at the last step of the buying process.)

Overall a fun game - one that I envision will be a mainstay on my iPhone for a long time.

  • I enjoyed it till I messed up once, then...

The game ruined itself immediately. The death system is flat out atrocious. This was 4.5-5 stars before then, but after giving it <20 tries and the game losing all its luster, I became motivated enough to post a review for the first time on the App Store in >3 years just so I could take those 2.5-stars off for such cases a critical discontinuity within the game.

Keep in mind this started close to a perfect score but lost as many stars as it did for it.

  • Fun

Easy on the go game. Gets pretty challenging after the 3rd stage.
  • Crash Bug

Unable to delete this app it freezes my device when I try to remove it.
  • Fun but laggy

The idea if the game looks fun and all, but once you open the app, it gets very laggy, and you can't even go any further in the game; kind of disappointed
  • Fantastic

    Great casual yet intense gameplay.
  • Why

Starting level 30 the game gets a little weird in a way that is almost impossible to even pass and when you reach the 50's just forget it. Turns into a ball then changes constant. -_- it's impossible for a human to get a high score
  • You win

Devs can stop writing new games, porting old ones, and should just focus on productivity apps from now on. The mobile device needs no other game. This is the one.
