I bought this app and it’s not working. It just opens and i get a message that the spirit box is not active. I’d like to rather get it to work or get my money back

I downloaded this today 19/10/19 could someone tell me why it’s not activated it just looks like a cardboard cut out on the my screen, i cannot switch it on there are no instructions, try press the question mark even that doesn’t work! Not very happy not going to rate this app a 5star until it’s working as it should.
