This is an invaluable app for virtually hands free calculations. Processes very rapidly spoken commands. The history feature is also amazingly useful. It is also very forgiving of background noise and minor speech errors like “umm, ah..” etc.

Where’s V2.0 ???
Today is October 14, 2018. I just downloaded Newton today expecting to get Apple Watch support. Instead the App Store downloaded version 1.0. There is no Apple Watch support for version 1.0. The Newton app itself seems to be a calculator capable of doing complex calculations and conversions by keyboard or by voice command. Seems to work well. The ergonomics and keyboard layout can be improved however. But I am after the Apple Watch version which is today, not available in version 1.0

This app is a lifesaver. It’s free. And there are no ads! You can calculate much faster when speaking. A couple of requests (1) accept ‘equals’ as a voice command (2) include ability to convert from sq meters to square feet; right now, strangely area can only be computed in acres or hectares, which is not very useful or practical.
