Crap
Ap opens when not connected to WiFi but is all Grey. When connected, and you hit start, it disappears. Looks like this is the issue that most are complaining about here!
It’s not working
Whenever I open the app on my phone, it kicks me out. Whenever I open in my iPad, it works. Why, and how can I get it to work on my phone.
App Crashes
I can’t use the camera because the app crashes when connected to the camera’s WiFi, please fix.

Connecting to the drone is as easy as 123! All you have to do is connect to the drone through wifi and BAM! You’re on!

It crashes as soon as I hit start
App works...until connected to phone
after I connect the drone to my phone and then go back to the app it immediately stops responding and closes the app out. We tried connecting it to multiple phones and each time we get the same results....disappointing. Only gave it 5 stars because bad reviews get removed.
No Video!!
Just got the drone yesterday. I did everything the directions said. I downloaded the app, connected to the drones Wi-Fi, and fired up the app. When
I press “Start”, the app crashes. Every time without fail!! The app only works when it’s not connected to the drone’s Wi-Fi!! If you ask me, I don’t know what these other people who recommend this is talking about, I have to give it thumbs down until the fix this problem!!!

Cannot get it to work
I have a SYMA X5SW-V3 that I bought to learn to fly drones and take aerial photos with. The drone flies great. I love using it an learning to fly it. I have no idea if the camera works at all as I’ve never been able to get the SYMA Fly app to work.
If I open the app without being connected to the camera via WiFi the app opens fine. Press “Start” and it takes you right to the main screen but the screen is all greyed out with cross hatching since there is no signal.
If I plug the camera in and turn on the drone, the green light on the camera lights up. The WiFi signal is easily acquired and connected. The red light in the camera begins flashing to show it’s connected. But if you open the app and press start the app immediately goes to the background. I can’t get the app to open to the main screen. I’ve never seen an image from the camera. I really don’t know what to do to fix it. I’ve looked for solutions on the internet and fiddled with it endlessly, but to no avail. I was going to upgrade to a bigger SYMA drone, but I need this for my job and I have to know it’s going to be reliable in the field. I just don’t feel that assurance so will likely buy another brand when I upgrade.

Doesn’t work
I remember using this app on my old phone to use with my drone and it worked pretty well. I got a new phone a few months ago and recently downloaded this app again to use for the same drone. But for some reason when I press start, it crashes every single time. I check to make sure I’m connected to the drone but nothing works. The app just constantly crashes.

App won’t work with camera
Follow all the steps and then open the app. When we click start, it doesn’t work. the whole app crashes. :(
