Great Concept But Falls Flat for Lack
The concept of being able to swipe through color coded versions of the same scripture - generated from a library of different Bible translations is awesome.
However, this application for some strange reason does not include the most popular (and necessary) versions of the Bible one would need for a thorough study.
Some of those missing versions are: The Kings James Version & The Amplified Bible. I’m sure there is more important missing versions that could be added to the Bible library feature within this application.
I’m not bothered by the need to come out of the Bible to go to the library portion to open Bible versions so it can display within the reading / Bible study area of this app. I can deal with those extra steps.
The other issue is - I’m finding some discrepancies with placement of important & popular scriptures, which have caused me to question the sources or validity of this application.
For example: Philippians 4:13 should state: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” But for some reason, one of the Bibles in their library is displaying this verse in 14 and verse 13 reads something entirely different.
So unfortunately I’ll be deleting this application. At this point the developer couldn’t be a true follower of Christ & allow such discrepancies to exist in the application… & at the same time not provide important versions of the Bible in app - as stated earlier.. Could be best Bible app
I’m trying to learn Spanish, so here’s the problems:
* Need more translation. I will pay whatever for extra translations.
* add a parallel feature. Swiping back and forth gets exhausting.
* I would love to see some of the duel version. Ex: NIV and NVI (Spanish version of NIV)
* add color adjusting
* put table of contents link- like if I click the top of the app where it says what book I’m in, allow me to jump around. Sometimes I read on my iphone, sometimes ipad, sometimes physical Bible, I don’t wanna have to back out of a screen and go back in or swipe a bunch to jump around.
* most people want this to practice a language, so think “how can I make the easiest tool for that” if that makes sense
You’re onto making the best Bible app of all. I will redo the review and five star it and be happy to spend $100+ for an app that makes it easier to practice my Spanish and english. Good luck Mr. Developer!Show lessKingKilmartin
Great idea, but
As another reviewer pointed out, I like the swiping for more translations concept (and also the vibrant colors); however, there are no good translations included. At least give us the KJV, which is the standard (free) translation for all Bible apps. Then, perhaps some good versions such as NKJV and NIV, even if for a nominal fee; although if used online, they should be offered free. Please consider.Show lessBAR112
Nice concept
Very nice concept, but needs way more translations, people would pay for more translations in a set up like this, I thought this was gonna be a great program until I realize that there were so little translation and I can’t believe the (KJV) & NKJV are not there.ReVeLaTioN1982

Excellent App
This is a very polished app with a beautiful design and user interface. With 9 Bible versions it is a very useful tool for someone who is interested in studying and learning more about the Bible. I would have given 5 stars but found that in some rare cases for some Bible versions there was some text missing from some of the verses (to developer: I just sent a feedback email about this).Show lessMlowerysimpson

This app has all I need for bible reading. Just sometimes I got confused for some icons. Need to improve on that.Sj Dian
