I’m not entirely sure just WHAT it’s actually detecting (hey, I’ll admit I’m not a genius on this topic... yet*g*) but I know enough about magnetic fields to realize that they’re something we should be aware of. The app is really simple and very consistent. Plus, it’s great fun to play with 😎.
Now I just need to figure out why my iHome alarm clock/stereo system pegs the meter off the charts while my 16 plug surge protector barely registers! LOLShow lessCampn
Works as described
This is a magnetic field detector, NOT a metal detector. Some metal objects retain a slight magnetic field from their manufacturing process. Put a map compass on a picnic table and you can see the needle point to screws and bolts. This app picks up fields generated by electronic devices.Monkey slinging poop

I was at Walmart ready to buy stud finders than i when into YouTube to see which one is best stud finders I seen a video that said don’t buy stud finder because there is app so when in App Store got for free. this amazing app that save me money. I when home try and work perfectbigwell24

I’m not sure why this works at all but somehow it does for the most part.
It’s no true metal detector but somehow, 7 out of 10 times it will detect the metal. It does say in the description so it gets 4 stars.insainlewey
