Love, love, love this game!
Have been playing this game for a few days now so time to tell you that's it's great and you should give it a try. It's very polished and the campaign is a lot of fun to play. I really enjoy the ship upgrades and getting out to blast some rocks and robots.
iOS gaming perfection!
I’m a huge fan of Space Miner: Space Ore Bust (if you haven’t played it, seriously get onto that!), and have been hanging out for years for a follow-up. I have to admit I was more than a bit worried when I read that Space Miner Wars was going to go the free-to-play route - after all, one of the best things about the original Space Miner was that it was a top-quality premium game with a low price tag, and no in-app purchases. However, I’m thrilled to find that going free-to-play has not spoiled Space Miner one bit.
Space Miner Wars has the flawless gameplay of Space Miner, with new characters, new gameplay mechanics, and much to my surprise, new Clash of Clans-type social aspects that actually add a whole new layer of fun without detracting from the (ridiculously fun) traditional Space Miner gameplay in any way.
I feel like I can’t rave about this game enough - not only has Venan crafted an excellent and worthy successor to their original masterpiece, they have released it for free, with a ton of extra layers of gameplay, and in-app purchases that really are completely optional. Join a guild, build a base, raid other people’s bases, or if you prefer, just ignore all that and play through the hours of story content, Space Ore Bust style.
You won’t regret downloading this game. It’s honestly one of, if not THE best iOS game on the App Store, period. Thanks Venan. You guys rock! (Get it!?)
