Should not release until thoroughly tested
The game is excellent but I have now got stuck twice thus the 1 star rating. First time was at the beginning (grandad cottage - fireplace) so I deleted the game and downloaded again. Second time I am near the end (dragon temple) and frankly cannot be bothered to do it all over again. Very annoying and frustrating!! Should get my money back... This is a new Fantasy-Adventure series from Mad Head Games the creators of Rite of Passage and Nevertales series so if you liked them you will Love this one. The story is fantastic graphics amazing great voice overs so much to see and do. Good transporting map inventory is labeled has great interactive/multiple part HOS with morphing objects in them, puzzles are challenging but not impossible this is long playing game and you are collecting Flames in each scene some are well hidden well worth the price have not had any problems/glitches
Give this one a try you will not be sorry

An OK Game
I started out finding this game confusing and am almost finished and still find it so. Beautiful graphics and a lot of care and work went into it, but ultimately I think that is the problem ....over kill. If you like long challenging games even on the easiest level then this is the game for you. Another poster said that a couple of parts don't work on iPad and it is true...just skip over them. Good try but I am a tad sorry I bought it, and I am a game veteran. I won't be doing the bonus this time.Show lessreikimaire

This is a really refreshing change from all the other games. Great storyline and fantastic graphics . A real variety of puzzles and even the extra game was great. Worth every penny, wish we had more like this.Blonde bombshell 43
AMAZING
I am actually still playing this game and I love it enough to stop and write a review. The graphics are amazing, the story line is engaging and I love all of the different puzzles and things you have to do. This is not a simple HO game, although there are still plenty of HO scenes...a lot of thought and ingenuity went into creating unique puzzles and ways of interacting with the game. I am LOVING this game. I have the iPad version and had no trouble at all with the balancing portion of the game like another reviewer did.Show lessWaif Zimm
Disappointing
The introductory music was great, but I don't like having the sound on, sooooo. The graphic were beautiful. But, the game left much to be desired. The intro was too long, and I skip that stuff anyway, so it meant nothing to me. I wanted to PLAY! I finally got to a scene with no idea what I was supposed to do. I tapped around but received messages if "not now." I ended up using the hint button way too often, and I disliked that. Going from scene to scene, was confusing. The balance game was impossible because it, like the HO scene, didn't respond quickly enough, though I WAS tapping. So I skipped that game and moved on. In the entire free sample there was only one HO scene. It was confusing because as you tapped the items they didn't disappear, they moved aside to reveal a puzzle piece. I thought that might be interesting. It wasn't. I wanted a map, but found none. I figured out how to use the boots because of the print about the mother using the boots. I couldn't figure out the medallion at first, not sure, even now, exactly what it was for. Over all it was frustratingly confusing and no fun at all. I WON'T be buying this game.Show lessOpinion02122

Loved this game. Right length with interesting story. It had some novel ways to interact with the environment. One of the best I played from Big Fish. It didn't freeze for me.Middy2112
