Introducing the new v2Connect Direct Track. Direct Track is an optional feature that allows you to directly track yourself on the v2track platform via your mobile device when not in the vicinity of your installed v2track tracking hardware. Familiar features of v2Connect such as Messaging, Forms and Checklists are also supported by Direct Track. Note that Direct Track is not available by default and requires setup on the v2track platform before it is available to you.

Improvements for Rock7 devices. v2Connect now shows v2track asset name in Bluetooth list to help to connect to the right device. Also added are new message notifications for Rock7 devices when v2Connect is in the background. This is useful as the Rock7 devices (apart from the RockSTAR) do not have any indicator themselves to show you that there is a message waiting.

There is a reduction the number of clicks/touches needed for some key operations such as sending messages. Also many "Ops normal" type dialog boxes auto time out and disappear to reduce the number of interactions with the screen. Stability improvements for Bluetooth connection. Notifies the user if they have declined the Local Network permission, which is required for communication with the tracker. General bug fixes and tidy ups.

The ability to read wireless beacons to speed up the population of personnel, cargo and role equipment into your custom manifest and weight and balance calculations. Also support for Bluetooth connectivity from iPhones has been added (previously iPhones were only supported via WiFi)

The v2Connect app now uses v2track's new branding and colour schemes. Additional features added: -The choice between Light and Dark themes to help readability in sunny or dark environments. -Multiple Flight Checklists groups are now supported such as Ground Check, Normal Ops and Emergency Ops. -Multiple Forms/Templates are now supported. -Photos can now be attached to Mark Position events. -Integration with AvPlan-EFB (iOS App) to import and transmit AvPlan-EFB flight plans through the v2track/v2Connect platform. -iPhone support has been added. But will require the tracker OS field upgraded and a small hardware addition (USB WiFi dongle). Please consult v2track for details. May require a software update to be able to use the new features. Please contact v2track for further information regarding suitability.
