I've not yet seen the Calendar itself because during the 'startup' procedure, the app demands access to my Contacts, claiming this is to show birthdays…
Just for birthdays? Why?!!
I do not want all of my contact's birthdays in a calendar!
What a shame there is no option to choose to use the app without allowing access to all of my contacts. And whilst this may seem innocuous enough, it's actually an intrusion upon people who will not know these details are being accessed.
Sorry if this review is more critical than others, but I take care of what data can be accessed by third parties who I know nothing about. So, without seeing this in action, I'll give it two stars.Show lessWhapper Stan

Just what I need!
I never normally review apps, but I’m making an exception as Cali is exactly what I haven’t been looking for. A simple, clean, uncluttered vertical weekly diary view with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Can’t wait to install it on my second-hand iPad when it arrives! However I agree with a previous review that perhaps an option to tick off or strike through completed tasks would be useful - for now I’ll just add a tick emoji to the end of any completed task title!Show lesstuckers1987

Nice and Clear
This calendar app is nice and clear and user friendly. Although, if the year planner showed events that occur for consecutive days more clearly that would be good- maybe a line of colour rather than a dot? This would highlight weeks such as holidays a bit better rather than looking for when the tiny coloured dots end. Thanks.Show lessChloeB10
