Cool combat system and bosses, clunky movement
Nice variety of moves and combos, but actions feel slightly unresponsive to controls. As a result, character doesn't feel fun to control. I can't dodge or change targets as quickly as I could in other side scrollers. Movement seems a bit slow on ground and in air.
The double jump is awkward to control. The 2nd jump shoots up much higher and faster than the first, which leads to easily overshooting jumps.
Level design and enemies are really boring at first, but it gets a lot better later. It feels like starting enemies don't do anything. Later on there are tricky jumps and enemies with strong defensive positions, so it's more interesting. I'd like to see the starting levels replaced with better ones.

Love the game! Good graphics. Power ups, lots of heroes to but adding an appeal. Good level desgin. Fun button mashing gameplay. Its a good time if your looking for a classic 2d style beat em up.
