The point of flash cards is to let the kids say the answer after they see the card, but they can’t do it with these flash cards. The voice automatically says the answer and there doesn’t appear any way the kids can answer first and then hit a button so the voice can confirm if they got it right. Without that interactivity, my kids feel like they’re being lectured to and don’t want to “play” at all. Too bad, because it could be a good way to learn letters and numbers but it seems punitive rather than educational. I give it two stars instead of one because the graphics are nice.
