Simple but effective
The game seems ridiculously simple when you first try it, but you quickly discover that beneath that simplicity there is a layer of strategy and difficulty. Many a time I have been told that I have three letter correct and yet have struggle to work out exactly what they are.
The little facts for correct words are fun but not super amazing, many of which I have heard on the QI show or in their No Such Thing As A Fish podcast.
Still this game is dangerously addictive with that "just one more go" feeling.Show lessSergeant Detritus
Fun word game!
I love word games and this one is no exception! It's easy to play and addicting. No ads on the free version, though I think the single player games will run out, eventually, and you'll have to pay for more wordpacks. The only limit on the multiplayer mode is you can only play 2 games at a time. I do wish they would add stats so you know how you're doing against other players. Love it!Show lessLB0024

Stimulating and exciting.
I have been enjoying the podcast no such thing as a fish ever since I discovered it this last January and when I heard that the brilliant minds behind my favorite way to spend an afternoon had created an app I immediately downloaded the game, and I have not in the least been disappointed. Normally a very stingy App Store purchaser and wary of in app purchases I will happily buy more word packs when I run out of the fairly extensive list of free words. While playing this game I feel as if I am learning things even before the fascinating little tidbits show up to reward me for my hard work. All in all this is by far the most entertaining and perfectly challenging game I have ever downloaded from the App Store.Show lessMan-traut

Seems to leave a badge icon around for no good reason after delving into multiplayer, but otherwise I'm really enjoying this so far :)Dankaska

Brilliant Game!
It's rare that i download a game and feel the need to leave a comment, but this game is just fantastic! Have already spent many hours going through the various levels and there are 2 improvements I'd love to see to make it even better. Firstly, would love some stats to show your par average for each difficulty level or word set. Secondly, would love a button on the keyboard which would remove all red & green markers at once.
