Definitely worth it!!!
OK, so I’ve had this game for a while. And I just thought today that I wanted to make a review on it since it is an awesome game! Personally, audio games for me are really, really hard to find. Being a fully blind person has its disadvantages. One of which, is gaming. While I love to game, it’s really hard to find a game that I can actually play. this was the first game that I ever found and though I have a lot more, this is still probably the best game. I’ve played so far! Thank you so much for making this game for us, I wouldn’t have been able to find other games without having this game first. In fact, I don’t think I would even have been this interested in gaming if I didn’t have this game. So, thank you, for making such a masterpiece for blind people to play!

Please fix the bugs
A definite bug needs to be fixed after the crossing during the fight of the underwater monster, the game seems to be just looping without actually going to the fight the bridge and
Okay
Good but needs updating. Will re review app then
Love the game except for
I will give this game five stars definitely. The only thing keeping me from doing so is that I have reached this certain level. At the certain level the Blind legend character is walking on a snowy mountain following the instructions of his daughter. When it gets to a certain point after fighting off the monster the character has to rush before some other people start looking for him again. At a certain point the person who is looking for him starts walking up towards him every time at this point my character gets killed. I have even tried several times to go back thinking that it was just me not reacting in time. When I did I want to put out my sword on the game and I could not put it out in time I don’t know if it is that my reaction is too slow for that though so we’re just won’t go out and it could be a bug with the game. I have tried this several times leading me to think that maybe it is caused by something wrong with the game. Amazing game awesome sounds and it really makes you feel like you are in the game but if this could be what the heck that would be great.

Awesome game but may not be totally compatible with my current up-to-date phone
This is quite a realistic game, and you’ll certainly feel that you’re right in the middle of the action. This is my favourite kind of game and I wish there were lots more of them, although I wish some of those games made for Disney were accessible and something I could experience in a 3-D setting. Anyway, I think this game may be a little buggy because it wasn’t tested on an iPhone SE so I don’t know that that’s true. I have the current software which is 15 something but I just think perhaps it’s a touch out of sync. As many times as I’ve tried to beat the current scene I’m on, even with listening to and doing the same as other reviewers of this game as they play at through, I’m not able to beat the scene. 725 by the way. I’m just wondering that’s all.

It’s all in French?
Is it supposed to be all in French? I have no idea what I’m supposed to do or how to play because there’s nothing on screen and there’s only an automated American robotic voice that said one name during the opening credits?
Is this game available in English? How do I change the language settings?
At the moment I’m just tapping and sliding my finger around the screen randomly, but all instructions are still in French.

Hate the robotic voice over
I absolutely hate the robotic narrator. Did you guys not have the budget for a real person? It’s incredibly insulting on so many levels.
Great game
Truly an amazing game. But, I feel that the player should get a chance to upgrade or change their weapon. For example, give the option to use a musket or other rifle. Allow the use of pistols and bow and arrows. Please take this into consideration.
I hope they make more of this kind of game.
Overall, A Blind Legend is a fun, straightforward game with a fantasy setting and novel 3D sound design. It’s worth playing. I hope that there are more games made like this, with some improvements and changes. Here are my critiques and some information for potential players.
Content Warnings: The game contains some coarse and derogatory (ableist) language, violence and death sounds that can be described as... intense. There are a few sudden loud noises, ringing sounds, and concentrated, busy audio at times that may be overwhelming to some.
Writing: The story is very simple and linear with few characters. I wish it were longer, but I understand the constraints of production. The ending feels kind of random as if there was meant to be more foreshadowing and character development, but was rushed? The goon characters have cartoonishly evil voice lines that pull away from any realism, but are amusing nevertheless.
Mechanics: The game functions fine in terms of controls. The controls are simple and easy to remember. Most of the issues with gameplay come from the creative choices in the sound design. Since the game is made to be played with headphones, it can be hard to distinguish directions other than left and right. This is not helped by the guide character (Louise) who often gives vague instructions that lead to the player’s failure. I wish Louise used more specific direction terms instead of saying “this way” so much. My least favourite is when she says “you’re far away” without any indication of how to correct my path. I also wish Louise just had more variety of voice lines because she gets on the nerves after a while.
It would be nice if some of the soundscape was less dense, because Louise’s voice is commonly drowned out by other sounds in the environment, making it very difficult to navigate.

Great sound and controls but…
I think this game is beautifully made. The sound design and the controls are fantastic but I have to tell you… When the character smacks his daughter for wandering off on him I just couldn’t play this game anymore.
It’s sucked. And I don’t know if I’m gonna bring myself to play it again. This is a game rated 12+ and I’m pretty sure that violence towards children would garner a rating for mature audiences. Anyway, it’s groundbreaking, but I’m not gonna recommend it and I’m certainly not going to include it in my accessible games courses any longer.
