Description of A Word Clock

Do you really need the exact time of the day. Practically not always. 'A Word Clock' is an app that shows the current time as words in more or less five minute intervals. Several color schemes are available, black & white, changing over day. With swipe right you can have alternate time displays. I.e exact time in hours and minutes, time including date and time zone and the full date including your current location. Enjoy and relax. The app currently supports the following languages, if set as device language: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian and Chinese(simplified). There are also some settings available: 1. Select the color scheme: You can choose between Black & White, White & Black, Dark, Light, a color change based on the time of the day (i.e. from blue to red) and 'kids' with letters in different colors. If selected you can choose a color by yourself. also, change the background color. 2. Lazy Time: Usually, i.e. a quarter past five is 5:15. But, when you tell somebody what the time is, you say' a quarter past five', when the time is around 5:15 (or 5:13 - 5:17). That's what we mean with lazy. If switched off, the app switches exactly in five minute intervals.

Reviews of A Word Clock

Suggestion to make it more useful

It is a good app as it is. I have a specific use where it is important to have the words accurate to the minute rather than to the nearest 5 minutes. I am referring here to radio broadcasting where accuracy to the minute is very important and mistakes in the time calls are unacceptable. I would be prepared to pay a premium for such a version and I know many other presenters who would do so too. So, how about it??? ;)
