  • Great foundation for a full fledged game!

I love this little game, it is fun.

I’d like to see more out of this game though, the buttons are a bit small, UI could use some work, and functionality like pausing isn’t implemented.
I got around 1,500 points on hard mode before my hand got tired of tapping the buttons every time the demand changed.
I ended up deliberately letting the coal run out, to save the score.

    The game has no audio.
Mechanic wise, the game is really far ahead of anything else I’ve seen on the AppStore that is close to realistic in the simulation. I’d just wish it was a bit more complex. Perhaps you have to manage the damage of the steam turbines. Upgrades, money management?

Either way, the game is fairly priced, and for a dollar, it is worth it to check out.

  • Ahh, the good old days!

Reminds me of one place I worked where everything was cobbled together. Like this simulation, a minute or two of distraction, such as responding to a load change without “minding the store” and you were behind the 8 ball.
Things would spiral quickly outside the safety parameters of the operating system, the whole place would trip, and you’d have start all over again. Those on campus without heat and power and yours truly quickly got to know each other on a first name basis. But I digress.

This is a delightful Simulation in my opinion. As one would expect, several truckloads of details are glossed over in order to get the show on the road, but the “big picture” is well captured.

    Well done!

  • Awesome Way To Pass Time

Great game! Theory and controls are accurate to operating an actual plant. Of course the real thing is a bit more involved but this game offers a tad bit of the excitement
