  • Colour of fright

Loved this game, more please, nice and long too
  • All but one puzzle works

I love the Grim Tales series and this one is good and all but there's one problem: The puppet show puzzle in the room where the painting Jackie is trapped in isn't working like it should. It first started like it should. You try to match the puppets positions with the shadows behind them. But when you solve that the problem occurs. The next scene doesn't come into view and you can't solve the puzzle completely so you can only move on if you press the SKIP button. It's not fun when you can't solve puzzles on your own. Please fix that and if possible update it so it can work on ISO 10.3.3 IPad Pro. Thanks

  • High quality

I love Elephant games because of their character and high quality! I will be playing every game that they care to make! I look forward to playing your next game! Keep on rockin!
  • Good Starting Point for New Comers

So I recently got into the adventures of the Grey family, but I knew I was missing references to past adventures. This one doesn't cover all the details, but provides enough to understand the nuances of the plots later on. A good jumping on point for people who don't want to go back all the way to game one to learn the details and stories in my opinion.

A little glitchy, and connect the dots wasn't easy to figure out with the paintings, but overall solid game.

  • Arrrrggggghhhhhh!!!

I was almost through the main game but had to stop for a while. A couple of days later, when I picked it up again to continue, it had lost everything and I found myself right back at the very beginning! Even though it was a pretty good game, I have no desire to replay the whole damned thing over again right now!

UPDATE: Upgraded from 1 star to 3. After waiting a while, I restarted the game. It didn't lose progress this time, but one mini-game malfunctioned and had to be skipped when a necessary part vanished. If you miss any collectibles, there is no means to return to and scenes to try to locate them. Overall, not bad, but too many issues to warrant more than 3 stars.

  • Not bad

This would have been a 5 star game if the screen hadn't been so unresponsive at times and one of the puzzles (the one where you have to match the puppets to the silhouettes) was impossible, as halfway through the puppets/silhouettes disappeared and just left a brick wall.
The graphics are gorgeous and I enjoyed the story and atmosphere. There are some good super puzzles (which are quite tricky) and not too many HOS. Plenty of nice collectables (missed a few of the monsters, as although tapping in right place they still wouldn't budge!). Game needs a few tweaks! Bought in sale but wouldn't pay full price. 😔

  • Buggy

Ok game but annoying to have to skip mini games because they don't work.
  • Grim tales. Colour of fright

Was enjoying this game but it is quite unresponsive and the drawings that you have to complete do not work. I have tried endlessly and in the end have had to skip them. I also seem to be quite a long way into the story, so I fear it may be quite short.
  • Don't waste your money

It is very rare that I dislike a game as much as this one, and I really like the rest of the series. This one is so glitchy, that it is tedious to play. One example, there was an entire puzzle that I had to skip because the back drop of the stage did not load. When I went on the forums to check for help this issue had been complained about at least a year ago, and it is still not fixed! (And the forum is locked) Unacceptable, Big Fish. If I could get my money back, I would.

  • Annoying

I love Big Fish games but deleted this one before even finishing the free trial. WAY too many cut scenes, and finicky - picking up objects often meant tapping slightly beside it. I kept using hints, only to find that I was doing the right thing but the object wasn't responding. It's playable, but not worth the frustration.
