  • Love it but here’s some ideas

I'm really enjoying the app; it's a fantastic way to get everyone active. I have a couple of suggestions for improvement: adding a chat feature would be great for smack talk and encouragement among users. Additionally, implementing a fund-holding feature for things like a pot could be beneficial, allowing users to cash out for bets. You could even take a small percentage of the transactions to support the app’s ongoing development.

  • ALMOST what I’m Looking For!

We were going to use this app in a workplace walking challenge but you can only see the teams players exact steps for the current day and previous day. After that, it only records average steps and not the exact count. As the admin, I’m not about to check everyone’s steps every single day including weekends to get an accurate count. IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF YOU COULD CHANGE THIS ASAP. We start the challenge on August 1st and I have the task of finding the perfect app and this one checks every box except for this ONE FATAL FLAW.

    Developer Response

You can see total steps for each person in the weekly and monthly leaderboard below their average steps in smaller grey text. Group admins can also export reports for any date or date range from Settings > Manage Groups > Export Reports. These reports include the step leaderboard with total and average steps per person for the date range. And also the total steps and distance covered by the entire group together. Group creators/Admins can make another group member an admin by swiping/long pressing on them in the leaderboard. Please reach out on team@thestepupapp.com if you have any other questions or suggestions! Thank you!
