Not user friendly
I have been unable to log in. This app has been bothersome for many months now.
Not usable!
It refuses to let me in. I put in my card number and PIN number correctly. It’s now been 2 weeks of not being allowed into my account. The last 2 updates did absolutely nothing to help resolve issues.
No-context “password invalid” error
Zero stars since I can’t even create a password.
Temporarily unavailable - for months
I am wondering if there is something to do with my phone not being compatible with this app but I downloaded it months ago and it was working, but now for about five months it has consistently said it’s temporarily unavailable every time I try to open the app. I’ve even tried deleting it and reinstalling but that doesn’t work.

Good addition to Library services
This App saves time when checking borrowing / reservations.
Reserving new books and CD’s is also child’s play compared to online web access method. It’s been a boon during Covid lockdown period.

Needs work
This app was recommended for use by the library, I’m struggling to understand why.... A total waste of time.
1) No instructions of how to log on. Trial and error found that the User ID is your email address. (All I got from the county library when I joined online during lockdown was a compliment slip and a library card via the post).
2) To try and understand the point of the app a search of random authors names produced error messages for some authors, even though spelt correctly, I know my local library stocks their books, so why doesn’t it find all books?
3) No explaination of what the errors mean?
4) You only appear to be able to loan physical books from this app? So need other apps for other media available in the library. You used to be able to loan all these things from the library?
Basically the app needs some instructions of how to use it, if the library is expecting users to manage their loans from it and recommending its use.
From my point of view it just seems to provide addresses of county libraries and refers you to the libraries website. I can do that already without an app on my device.

Disappointed
Nice to have an app to access my local library’s website but disappointed that it adds so little to the base functionality of the site itself. In fact the app requires more clicks that the website to get all the info I want. It also displays lists of libraries that have books I want to reserve but this is irrelevant to online reservations since I have no control over where the books come from. It might be useful to know that the library I use has it on the shelf but not that one on the other side of the county has it. Just annoying.
