1. BIG announcement: Our app has a new name! The TopConnector app is now called Top Investor.
We feel that the name Top Investor better reflects our focus on helping real estate investors & agents expand their business.
Here's what we have added to the new version:
1. More property & owner data, updated weekly. Outdated data means risky data, that’s why we are now updating Top Investor’s databases on a weekly basis.
2. Practical neighborhood-level data & lists, such as the local mix of property types, the prevailing property value ranges, the number of absentee owned homes, recently sold homes, resent flips and mortgage related data.
3. Unlimited Exports. Now you can export an individual Property Report or selected Lists of properties (e.g. all absentee-owned homes in the neighborhood).
4. Offline Use. You can now pull up data and research properties even in areas with poor cell coverage.
5. Less is more. There’s an infinite amount of data that can be researched, but that doesn’t mean it should be. That’s why we’ve focused on real estate data that’s crucial for investors, so you’re only researching what’s necessary. Types of information, such as trivial business info, owner’s demographics and names of the tenants in apartment buildings are no longer supported.
Use Top Investor app to easily get data on any residential property in the U.S., including off-market properties. No real estate license is required.

1. We’ve increased the number of the free property lookups available for the new TopConnector users. New users now can perform 15 lookups at no charge.
2. We added a Free Lookups Counter which allows new users to see the remaining free lookups they can perform before being asked to subscribe in-app.
3. We added a Delete button to Saved Properties to make it easier to delete properties from the list.
4. We have fixed a rare bug that caused the app to crash when a location data has been requested and this request coincided with a sudden drop in connectivity.

Introducing Comps (comparable properties)
Now you can get a list of comps — recently sold properties in the same neighborhood that are are similar to the subject property.
Comps are organized in a table that makes it easy to compare the subject property against properties of the same type and size that have been sold within the last year and located within one mile of the subject property.
How it works
1. Tap the Property Record button on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Tap Comps to view the property comparison table.
The property comparison table uses columns for the comparable properties and rows for the property data. It allows for quick and easy comparison between each property’s characteristics.

1.Introducing Property Boundaries. Now you can touch a property on the map to view the official property boundaries and know where the property begins and where it ends.
2.To make researching and comparing properties even easier and faster, we've added the following data to the quick info that appears when touching the map:
•the number of bedrooms and bathrooms,
•the property's last sale date,
•when the owner is absentee, this info will appear on the callout next to the owner's name.
3.We have added two new buttons in Notes:
•Take Photo button - it allows you to take photos from within the TopConnector app and add them to your notes.
•Send Note button – it makes it easier to share your notes and pictures with your associates and friends.
4.Now you can also share key property data via email or SMS message. When you tap the Send/Share button on the lower taskbar, the quick info that is on the callout - the property address, type, value, beds, baths, last sale date and the name of the owner - will be automatically included in your email or SMS message.
5.You can use Send/Share to quickly send your feedback or suggestions to us.

Snap a photo and get data on all properties around the photo’s location.
How it works:
1.From the TopConnector app, tap the Find Photo's Location button and choose from the photos on your phone.
2.TopConnector will show the location of the photo on the map.
3.Get property & owner info by touching houses/buildings around the photo’s location on the map.
You can use any photo you've taken with your phone, whether it's a photo of you, of a tree, or a blurred photo snapped through your car window while driving. TopConnector will always bring up the map location where the photo was taken, so you can easily research the area.
Add notes
Add photos, map snapshots and additional info about properties, property owners or businesses that interest you. All properties that have notes are marked with a small icon in Saved Searches, so you can easily find them.

Before going into an area with poor cell coverage, select the respective census tract (or tracts) on the map — that is, just press on the map to select the tract. This way, all data on all properties in the tract will be downloaded into the app and you’ll be able to access it offline later on.
Whether you are in the field or in your office, you can always work offline and save on data plan and battery. Get all the data you need when an opportunity arises, no matter where you might be.
