  • Can’t argue 👌

Love the insights and what’s on offer 1 thing guys as a IPhone X user Please adapt it too the IPhone X would be soo mich batter and a little less ads or just charge £1 for the app as it’s as ridden and makes it horrible to work with 👍

Thanks for the review! We're working on adapting the for iPhone X – hope to have this in place soon. As for the ads, they appear on some of the blogs we link to, so are mostly out of our control. However, you can block individual sources from your news feed if you get fed up with their ads and popups. We're also working on a "Reader View" feature for the in-app browser which will allow you to read a plain-text version of blogs posts without being bothered by ads. Fingers crossed we'll have these featured out in a new app update soon. In the meantime, if you have any more feedback please email me at david@celticnewsnow.com :) HH David
  • One more thing for fans other teams to be jealous of...

If only all football clubs had a way of aggregating news, writing and opinion in the effortless way that this new version of CNN does. Outstanding.

  • iPhone x support lacking otherwise 5 star

iPhone x support lacking otherwise 5 star
  • Impossible to read most of the time

In principle, apps like this are a good idea whereby you have direct links to a number of sites offering news about your team. The trouble is that the pop up ads which appear cause the news content to shift about the page and in some cases will not let you even read the content unless you go to other sites that you may not necessarily want to visit. I understand that app developers have to recoup their outlay in some way, but if the actual reason for using the app becomes secondary to unwanted advertising then it’s time to delete and find some other way of getting my news.

Hi Eddie, thanks for your feedback. The popup ads aren't actually in the app itself – they appear on some of the blogs we link to, and are unfortunately not something we can control. To combat this, we've added a new feature to enable users to block news from individual sites and blogs for whatever reason (eg, too many ads, or you just don't like their content), so you can now tailor your own ad-free news feed. Please try the new version of the app and email me your feedback to david@celticnewsnow.com. If you do like the new app, I'd really appreciate it if you'd upgrade your rating :) Hail Hail, David
  • Indispensable

Up to the minute news. The format could be easier to navigate but other than that it's great. All the 'major' rags are covered, but it is the contributions from the fan run blogs and websites that make this app indispensable.
Thanks CNN! (See what I did there?)
P.S. Contributions from Cable Network News are few and far between.
