Buggy and Subpar Interface
Love the show but this app needs a lot of work. The stupid pop up videos on the home page will continuously start playing while listening to a podcast even when you don’t have the app up on your phone. The podcast order also flows in reverse order so after each hour, you need to manually go in to play the next hour. Both of these issues are safety concerns for people listening while driving. The app crashes frequently, and it’s annoying to even navigate to the podcasts in general. I’ve emailed staff multiple times with zero response.

How convenient this app is.
The main and only use I have for this app is the ability to listen in when I’m away from my car. I do enjoy the YouTube clips but I prefer this app.
Way too many ads
It’s so frustrating using this app when I have to sit through 3 ads before I can listen to anything.
Then if you close the app or lose a connection, it restarts the ads. That’s not even counting the ads you have to listen too since it’s live radio (which is separate btw)

Love 98.5 but it’s crazy how many ads they shove down your throat with this awful app. Pause the audio or make the mistake of watching a video on twitter for half a second and you’re hit with some 30 second unskippale ad that you’ve heard 500,000 times before. It’s a radio station, I already get damn ads. Gross.

Can someone at 98.5 update the app so that it actually works when not on wifi? Also, if my calendar gives me a reminder or my alarm goes off, why do I need to rewatch another add with Felger or whomever each time while I miss actual content from the show?
Core is ok but keeps repeating startup ads
So obviously the revenue model for this thing is to not only play the broadcast ads but when you start the application it plays another ad that's been sold. That's generally fine I get it. Except if you just pause the broadcast for a second or reconnect your earbuds it somehow decides that this is not the same session you've been listening to and it plays the introductory one minute of ads again. This is especially annoying if you're using your phone for another app that "hijack" the audio for a second. If you try to switch back to this app it decides you're starting a new session and you had better hear that same introductory one minute of ads again. Super annoying.

Connection SUCKS
Love the programs but you are guaranteed three things in life. You’ll pay taxes, you’ll die, and the beasley broadcast group app will randomly cut out in the middle of you listening to something. Such a shame because this is the only way I can get my Boston sports talk shows and this app goes out more than I did in my college days.

It keeps crashing
Whenever the app crashes which is frequent, the app restarts and you have listen to advertisements in video forms ,then advertisements before the live feed. Once you actually get to the live feed the broadcasters have to do their reads and then listen to regular advertisements before you can actually listen to the show. At about that time the app crashes again and then the cycle repeats. It makes listening very challenging. The app crashes if my phone switches from my network to WiFi and vice versa. This is very frustrating and it makes me want to put a nail gun to the back of my head.(joking) I know 98.5 has to pay some bills but for the listener it is very annoying. Love the shows please fix your app. Thank you!

too much non-broadcast ads
the app is very aggressive pushing ads. it’s possible to get an ad before you begin streaming the radio broadcast and then pick up the broadcast in the middle of ads. it’s a double dose of ads simply because i have chosen to listen through the app as opposed to traditional radio streaming. because of the invasive and aggressive ads, this app cannot receive more than 3 stars.

Boston Fleet
I’m a huge Boston sports fan, and I love this app for so many reasons. It’s the easiest and most reliable way for me to get all my information on rosters, trade rumors, schedules, etc. I’m a HUGE hockey fan, and I follow all NHL teams. Recently, I started following the PWHL, and I realized that there was no information on the Boston PWHL team, The Boston Fleet, on the app. I would love it if the Sports Hub could start including the Boston Fleet. After all, the Boston Fleet are technically a Boston team, and a hockey team of their own. If we have the Bruins, why can’t we include the Fleet? I would like to be able to get news on the girls and listen to the Fleet games. They sold out TD Garden, for crying out loud! They are amazing, and I personally think you’d become so much more popular if you included the girls! Please take this into consideration! Otherwise, love the app! 9/10 for sure!

Commercials app
Every time you turn it on, you get multiple ads. If you listen for too long, the app will stop working and you get forced to listen to more commercials. Turn it off for 5 minutes and more commercials get forced on you. I no longer listen on the “commercials “ app. The only thing more annoying is the Felger and Mazz troll show. Haven’t listen to those

Frustrating
Nothing makes me more angry than when they add ADDITIONAL advertisements which you have to watch before you start playing the radio which already has ads. Also the app is super buggy. Better off using Apple Podcasts and tunein
Pre-roll ads suck and blow
Can someone explain why we need pre-roll ads for this app? We’re already getting ads when they go to commercial break during the show. These ads are annoying and they keep popping up every time I come in and out of my car… I hear the same two ads 20 times a day please fix.
