Description of Deja Vu

You wake up in a bathroom stall in a seedy Chicago bar with no idea of how you got here or, for that matter, who you are. You’ve dealt with the effects of benders before and this ain’t one of those. As you shake your head (hoping some memories might shake loose), you notice a ’38 hanging on the door. You check the chamber – six shells – three of them empty. That can’t be good. You gather your trench coat, stumble up the stairs and find some stiff slumped over a desk. There’s three bullets in the guy. Yeah, this is gonna be a bad day. The original Macintosh AND Apple IIgs versions are back, featuring gumshoe detective Ace Harding! Come see where the world of first-person adventures started and experience the classic 1940′s noir game as it appeared in 1985.

  • i loves these games

i loves these games but i can't seem to get it to work. I try and click on something and it just highlights the area. Am i doing something wrong? it say it's compatible with my mac book pro. i don't know. if someone could help me figure it out, I'll change my star rating.
  • Still a Classic

A time capsule of 80s gaming and 40s Film Noir. It is a real treat for fans of the original NES games to get to experience the originals, using a touchpad. I remember as a kid playing this, it felt so realistic and grown up to go through a city as a private eye. From a historic perspective, this was one of the earliest adventure series' to feature a first person perspective, while still being tied to some of the text-based conventions of earlier adventure titles. For newcomers, resist walkthroughs and think like a detective !! - But don't make too many moves in one save or your in-game time limit might expire. Thanks so much for 64 bit compatibility which will allow these games to keep playing on iOS 11. Really, my only complaint comes from the sound of this and the other ports. I am listening to WiiGuy's Kemco NES port stereo soundtracks of these games in the background to more fully relive the NES experience, but the game sound effects pause my music every time they go off, and cannot be turned off.
  • Pathetic

This is the worst port I ever played.
It certainly isn't ready for the Ipad.
Example - I place a bet at blackjack; I finally beat the dealer for once, and the entire blackjack table moved over my bet. I could not collect the winnings and had to restart the game.
Please fix, because this is a classic and doesn't deserve this crap!
