Reviews of Vocera Secure Texting

  • Needs update

Doesn’t work with new iOS and iPhone 14
  • No option to turn off volume

Even though I turned off the notification volume on my phone and disabled notification sounds, the chime still plays even in vibrate mode. Please add an option to the notification sounds for “no sound”.
  • Frustrating to use

I am required to use this for work. The app has serious shortcomings

    1. There is no way to forward a message to someone else even within the same workplace.

    2. There is no option for changing alert volume. Any moderately loud environment will drown out the alerts. The vibration alert is essential but doesn’t help if your phone isn’t in your pocket.

    3. Even coworkers who have downloaded the app don’t use it; it’s not immediate apparent which messages are actually being read, which can be dangerous in healthcare.
