It's 3.99 after the first levels.
It's more of a demo in my opinion and not worth buying. Nothing special, the story has nothing to do with the gameplay itself.

I had the same issue...only way to fix it was to delete the profile and start from scratch. Hopefully you found an easier way 😀
Good for the first free part
Enjoyed playing the first chapter, but beyond that requires payment and I haven’t unlocked that yet.

I’m giving it two stars because after you play the first two levels you have to purchase the full game . I purchase the game but there are no more chapters to play . Only thing I’m able to play is just the mystery challenges.

Hello, if you can access the Mystery Challenges, that means that you have the full acces to all Story Chapters as well - you can select chapters using the Bookmarks on the left side of the Diary. But please have in mind that, you have to complete all Chapter 1 levels in order to play Chapter 2 levels. Have fun and thanks for your feedback!

So the game is a little slow/confusing to follow (lots of clicking through awkward story text) and you play maybe 6-8 levels of mahjong, and then they ask you to pay $4.99 to progress. Not worth it to me.
