Huge potential, slightly frustrating
Have a one year membership and been using the app for a month now. The potential for what it can deliver is huge. At a rec level, being able to use data to understand what I’m doing well and not so well, and focus on improving one area at a time is incredibly valuable. But as with any startup, things are never going to perfect and the niggles are frustrating at time. My 64GB iPhone is not enough to process, and switching with Mac is slow and long, and the data doesn’t always sync well. Setting up the recording using the watch is also hit or miss, and requires a lot of fiddling. It takes 6-8 hrs to complete the process for a 2hr game. Fingers crossed they improve the usability quickly instead of just adding new features.

A great tool
I use this in conjunction with coaching to see whether I’m implementing the things I’ve learned. Love the ability to fast forward out rewind between shots and to filter for different players, spot types or point outcomes (won/lost). Great work team!
Great idea horrible execution.
The idea for this app is an incredible one. Unfortunately it has been executed horribly. The app is awful, the funcitonality of favoriting points and anything else that you would want to use so you dont have to manually look through a full video to find good serves, long rallies etc DOES NOT WORK. They are advertising features that absolutely do not work. Want to view your video online? it shows you can but the videos buffer endlessly, you can't scrub through the video because that breaks the player, none of the filters work. Many feautres in the app take you to a screen without a back button and the only way to go back to what you were doing is to close the app and reopen it. Never have i seen a product that appears to be polished and well done but so incredibly broken and non functional once you try to do anything. The fact that they are charging for the full version and are asking such a high number for the subscription is nothing short of fraud and a scam. Fix your product then it might be worth half what you guys are trying to sell it for. So utterly dissapointing.

Terrible Scoring
This App has the potential to be amazing! The problem is they are building too broad and forgetting the basics. Fundamental to tennis recording is the score. The advertised “AI scoring” is never correct. At best it gets the winner of all games right, but messes up multiple points. On average it gets 1 or 2 games wrong and 10+ points wrong. This is over about 20+ sets I have recorded through SwingVision. All the added functionality is useless without having the correct score.
I have requested multiple times that SwingVision build the feature to allow a user to correct the auto scoring post-match. I know they have a “live” feature with Apple Watch, but they also need a post match feature. This will ensure the final video has the correct score because it is audited by the user. Additionally, this will provide extremely valuable training data for the AI auto scorer to learn from its mistakes and become more accurate.
Please Swing Vision create this feature and then I will happily change my review to 5 stars as once the scoring is correct, the app truly is great!!

Quality dramatically down hill- Bad customer service
Used to be big fan of the app referred many of my friends which I regret now: product quality has substantially gone down. For the last 3 months the app can’t detect the court anymore which means all stats are wrong rendering the app useless. All this while the developer is dramatically increasing price. To make matters worse and order for $100 worth of merchandise from more than 12 months ago has never been delivered, shows as “processing”. All this lead to me cancelling the service today.

Love that the filler time is cut off
Can be good when it works… when
The app can be great when it works, but on about 60% of times I’ve set it up, I’m spending about 15 minutes troubleshooting issues and then just giving up to not waste any more of my hitting partners time.
Have had a completely new issues in my last 3 uses. Paid for the subscription, but will most likely be cancelling soon.
Sad, because great when it’s working, but don’t feel like doing IT troubleshooting when I’m trying to play tennis.
