  • My cat didn’t pay attention to it

My cat didn’t like it that much and the only thing she was interested in was the treats I used to try to bribe her to play with the app I think the fish blend in to much with the background cuz neptune, my cat didn’t know anything was there

Please note that this game is for advanced cat players, so fish could blend with the mud. Allways start with my app "Mouse for Cats" if they play then try "Mouse in Cheese", finally "Fish for Cats" is for the most skilled players only!
  • Warning

One of my cats is not at all interested. Yogi however, absolutely loves it. I am writing this review from my phone because he is leaning on my IPad. He tried the app for the first time this week and loves to fish! He cries for the game when I don’t have it on. Yesterday I was taking a test and he kept swiping at the iPad and searching for fish on the screen. I have created a monster. I need to limit his screen time and try to use the iPad when he is in another room because I apparently am a crazy cat mom

  • Too much background

Our cats LOVE the mice iPad games, so much so that I can’t open my iPad when they’re around or I don’t get use it, so I know they love these games. But not this one. They look, but not for long. They don’t seem to be to distinguish the fish from that “grotto” background. I’ll wait for an update and try again.

Not a cartoon fishes is the point of this game. Some fishes are dark and cat may see them only when they are moving. We discovered that some sort of cats which were not attracted to our classic cat game Mouse for Cats, actually catching fishes and perhaps, they like if everything is moving. On the other side some cats are scared by water reflections .... One cat like when target disappear after hit (Mouse in Cheese) and another one is confused with face telling us "where is it? i don't like it"... Each cat is different like we are, some people play chess other shooting game or strategy :) You may try to touch fishes to generate attractive colors before you give it to cat. You can read reviews here saying: "Finally a game that my cat likes! He refused all others for some reason"... So i will keep the current 'theme' but i will update game settings to make fishes optionally more bright, but if your cat prefer simply looking objects, this game will fail all the time.
  • Cats?

Is this game for cats or humans? So confused but a good app none the less

I hope it is for cats :D I named it Fish for Cats: 3D fishing game for cats.
  • Too loud

My cat jumped every time that the game made noise. I tried turning the volume down and he still twitched, then he eventually just ran away from the game! I will be removing this game from my phone.

If your cat is so scared to play with fishes, try "Mouse for Cats" or "Mouse in Cheese" :)) Always adjust sound and brightness, check reflections on screen from the cat view and use iPad 😺
  • NOT VERY GOOD!😾

Not good! First of all, the fish are way to dum, and the fish just run into each other and go swim in places where you can’t see them. I don’t think the fish should change colors because it would just freak the cat out. Lastly, my cat wasn’t amused he just sat there and watched the fish for a minute then walked away. I'd love it if you would fix these ifs.

Thank you for your feedback. Fishes should not run into each other as they should collide with ground. If they not, something is wrong with physics on your device, can you please contact us via support portal attaching your device model? Game is tested on old iPad retina, but runs best on iPad Air or better. 12.9" display is best for cats :) We recommend to start with Mouse for Cats game, it is simple and older cats likes it. Fish for Cats is kittens choice. Everything is in move so they just jumping around the iPad. Color change feature is confirmation that cat did the hit. It was not there from the beginning and once we tried to disable color change, our cat touched same fish twice or more. He just learned that fished changing colors. Once your cat realize that it is game, things may change. Respect your cat personality :) NOT ALL CATS WILL PLAY ALL GAMES
  • My cat loves this!

After trying other apps, this and Mouse for cats are my cats and my favorites.

I will sit in my recliner, start the app, and rest the iPad on my stomach and my cat will hop in my lap, settle in and start pawing at the screen trying to catch those fish.

I love the bonding time and she’s so engaged by it, any time I have my iPad in my hands, she thinks it’s time to play.

My one request would be a toggle function that disables the iPad going to sleep, or extends the sleep timeout for a configurable duration.
