No upkeep?
Loved this app 10 or 11 years ago but I could only go through it so many times before wanting to experience some different stories of Lovecraft’s. A few more years went by and no new stuff, so I stopped using it all together. Fast forward to five or six years ago, and I wanted to show my niece the app, and upon opening, it crashed and immediately closed out of the app. It still does this and there have been no updates since. Kinda just writing this review to see if anyone that works on the app sees it, or not. Seems like it’s a dead app.

Haunting
It’s so beautiful, the marriage of Lovecraft with a art so delightful it brings all the horror to your eyes as well as seeing it in your imagination a double delight indeed, and more. The music is haunting as you read, barely aware of it but it’s there tugging at your nerves.
Would’ve preferred no sting moments but it works, I just love to be deeply embraced in words and prickling sounds and then to be jolted out is not such a nice feeling to me. But this app is so beautiful I can let it slide.
Recommended to anyone who loves horror and Lovecraft.

Excellent Reading Experience
Great way to read without doing the heavy lifting and very atmospheric. A must for Lovecraft fans!!
Absolutely delightful
As a fan of Lovecraft, and also one who enjoys how other artists represent his genius in a visually engaging, interactive and creative way, this little rendition is simply superb, a must for fans and also a great introduction for newcomers.
Good Stuff
I love the story Dagon, but the part where he jumps out the window has disappeared. It skips to him laying in the street. Maybe there’s a fix for this? Otherwise - beautiful job!
Innovative and artistic. Extremely well done.
This app has it all. Great art, music, interactive features and something that seems very innovative, which is good timing in an animated book.
I’ve seen many adaptions of Lovecraft’s work. The artists and musicians really bring it to life so we’ll that I think it may be the best representation available in spirit.

Very Cool
I found these completely by accident and also found the experience they offer, to be, “completely riveting”. Well worth both your time and your money. Enjoy.
A Unique Way
To the lover of horror stories from the telling of tales to the cinema there was the firing of the imagination with reading or listening to story tellers, or the utterly passive experience of a movie where all the imagination is supplied on screen. This method is quite different in that you get the imaginations of the designers working with Lovecraft’s creations, and applying your own ideas and speculations filling in the gaps. It’s a guided tour through horror but you decide how long and thoroughly you interact with it, and still not know how it resolves itself and you. Brilliant guide into the macabre.

Only 2 stories in so far…
I got this app around 2016 and it was my first introduction to Lovecraft. I remember being fascinated and THOROUGHLY creeped out with the first go round and afterwards I deleted the app to make room on my old, crappy phone.
I read and listened to a few Lovecraft stories afterwards and always wanted to delve deeper into the madness. After recently watching a documentary on Lovecraft, I remembered this app and decided to give it another shot.
I am definitely not disappointed. I just finished the second story, Dagon. It is far creepier than I remembered and the artwork is stunning. I love being able to interact with everything and I adore the haunting music. I can’t wait to continue!

Awesome and Exciting
The beautiful art, sound effects and the surprises go extremely well along side reading these classic scary tales by H.P. Lovecraft. I recommend this app 100%!
