Great content but display issue

Love this as a Bible reading companion, often has answers to my questions about the text.

Just upgraded to IOS17 on iPhone 12 and the top menu for changing book/chapter is behind the speaker/camera at the top of the screen. Some adjustment needed to the display for compatibility?

Excellent resource for in depth Bible study. There are some bugs that need fixed though. Highlights on verses tend to disappear, sometimes I’ll get signed out (usually when I’m interacting with the side menu), the notes under some verses seems to disappear at times, and I’ll get scooted to either Genesis 1 or Revelation 22 (thankfully, this doesn’t occur as often as it used to). The audio Bible is really finicky, so what I do is use another app to listen and read along in this one. Overall, I love this app, it just needs some updates. I’m a fan of the nasb, so I’m hoping for an audio for it. Many thanks to all the developers, programmers, designers, and testers!

Great app. But has been giving me some big issues.

The MacArthur study bible has been my go to for a while now and love the information that it offers. But with that being said I have run into issues with the app freezing in the middle of reading a random chapter and then it will throw me to the last chapter in revelation which is really frustrating and it’s to the point where I cannot really read on this all. Also recently the app has been crashing on both my iPhone and ipad. (Both are up to date) after deleting the app and redownloading it is saying that my account information is not right. Which is really disappointing because I have paid money for this app and I can’t even log in now. I am hopeful that these bugs will get worked out SOON.

Amazing Grace

It’s handy to use while I listen to any preacher on U-tube or my Grace to you app. Makes studying my LORDS word easy, efficient. There is audible option I use for many reasons. Love this app.

Great tool to study God’s Word

An easy to use app. Awesome notes, great for studying. An essential tool for daily bible study.

A Long Way To Go

Years ago I used the Olive Tree app, then I discovered the Life Bible app that was formerly Tecarta. I use the Life Bible primarily on an iPad because of screen size. I use it on a cell phone only if I want to read while waiting for an appointment. I have several Bibles on it including the NASB with concordance. I have two commentaries on it: the John MacArthur commentary and the Thru the Bible commentary. I presently have a view of three columns. I view two Bible translations plus a commentary. Selecting a different translation or commentary is a simple matter of clicking on that column for a list. Notes or verse highlights that I make are kept in a journal where they can be organized in folders. While in church I use the Life app to take notes and view the commentaries to compare them to the sermon. I just tried the Grace app and found it too rudimentary for me to use. It has a long way to go to be really good and well organized.

No Regrets!

If I had known about this app sooner, I definitely without a doubt, would have been using it. I truly enjoy each segment and how it’s presented. I use it as a guide to help me during my study time in God’s Word.
Second, I also enjoy how after each reading and/or lesson, it asks questions of us to apply it to own lives. It really makes me think. For example, have I been prideful and haven’t realized it; thinking I have been humble instead.
I pray that this app remains forever, because it truly helps me in my walk with Christ, when I am witnessing to others, and in my ministry.
Father, thank You so much for leading me to this app. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Favorite Bible App

I love the many facets of this app. Commentary, devotionals, live video sermons that are also written out, highlighting and still so much more. My issues are highlighting has never worked correctly. It never allows for highlights of my chosen specific phrases. Additionally I should be able to highlight just a word or 2. Most importantly and very frustrating is you can only highlight 1 thing per page. Once you’ve highlighted one thing, when you try to highlight another, it erases what was previously highlighted. Also not many colors to highlight with. I’m using an app now called Olive Tree I think. Please check out the highlighting in that app.
For this reason I am not able to use this app effectively for study. We understand you’re having issues with this app, but it has been over a year and it doesn’t seem that there have been any fixes or updates. I have to switch back and forth between 2 apps currently for study. Please note I have an updated IPhone so it’s not my phone that’s the problem here. I hope you get it worked out. We ❤️❤️❤️the resources packed into this app.
Thank you

Great app help fix needed

The app works mostly well , but the it keeps resetting to Revelation 22 , is that a secret message from jmac or is it a glitch , should I devote my entire life to that chapter or the whole bible ? Only yo7 can help. Please fix it before I run out of coffee

Great Content, Difficult Design

It is wonderful to have the great content and notes from one of the best study bibles out there. The app design is very frustrating though and could use a good update. 1) It is almost impossible to press the tiny back arrow in the top left that should get you out of the notes and back to the text. Shutting down the app and restarting is the only way most times. A larger button that actually works would be great. 2) Going into the study notes shuts off any audio you were listening to for some reason (classical music is my favorite when reading). Why does this happen? Seems like a bug that needs fixing. I offer these as easy and much needed improvements while remaining thankful for the ability to have this content on my phone, even though it’s unnecessarily hard to use. It’s still worth it for me. Thanks!
