Very Disappointing Experience
I purchased the Nexar dashcam a couple of years ago, and initially, everything worked perfectly. The SMS verification codes were sent to my phone number without any issues. However, about a year ago, I stopped receiving the SMS codes and eventually lost access to my account entirely. After reaching out to support, I found out that the developers had introduced a whitelist of countries where they send SMS verification codes, and my country wasn’t included. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer support, none of my issues were resolved. The service has been completely unhelpful. I bought an XR Beam dash camera at the time it was $100 being fairly expensive for a dash cam I bought one for my truck had several events happen where it recorded my whole drive except the part that I need when it was according it would work well but it was super hit or miss then I handed my phone to my brother to check out the app, and he accidentally clicked add a camera. There was no back button to take me to the home screen even tried resetting the app, and it would still resume the same screen, rendering it useless I recently tried to set it up again signing out and getting a new account now my camera will connect to my phones Wi-Fi but the app will not recognize that it’s connected. I factory reset everything still no luck when I called customer support. The lady on the phone was not very helpful and very condescending and was unable to help me or get the camera connected, and they refuse to give me a refund all this after I paid for their monthly subscription so basically a total waste of my time and money thanks to the lost footage and evidence I was trying to receive and ended up losing the case without the footage due to the lack of evidence so frustrating.Show lessDeveloper Response
