First thing every day. My favorite read ✔︎
Gotta stay in touch with the people and place I love. Now this app has made it easier on my iPhone too (but I still love print format on my iPad—so I can read the funnies!) We’ve subscribed for decades. Always will.
Superb! First app every day. ✔︎
Latest update especially nice for iPhone users: easy reading and access. I’m old fashioned: I also like the *print* edition on my iPad. (Gotta have comics!) Nothing like the daily news with a cuppa coffee. First thing every morning. We love hearing from and about our neighbors. Gotta stay in touch. We love you, Santa Fe.

Fix the bugs
New app provides no better experience than the previous. Lots of blank thumbnails. Duplicate issues listed. No good way to manage and delete downloaded issues. The pop up dialog for articles is a bad idea - reader should show articles full screen
Used daily. We count on our daily paper. First app every day!
Nothing like the daily news with a cuppa coffee. First thing every morning, delivered to your doorstop, and we don’t even have to walk out to the end of the driveway! Yeah, half the news we may have seen a day earlier online. But WTH, O? These are neighbors. We love hearing from and about our neighbors. Gotta stay in touch. We love you, Santa Fe.

Best digital
These folks have their digital act totally together. I subscribe to 5 newspapers and the SFNM is by far the best, easy to use, easy to read - actually couldn’t be done any better. Bravo!
New Mexican
E-subscription just stopped working, can no longer log in even though we have paid.
The BEST newspaper in the whole US
I lived in Santa Fe for 20 years, and had to move to Albuquerque. But I couldn’t exist without the New Mexican, so I’ve been subscribing to the e-New Mexican ever since. The first thing I do every morning is read it. Every morning.
The New Mexican has the best coverage of National and international events. It includes articles from The Washington Post and The New York Times (disclosure: I subscribe to both) as well as articles written by Santa Fe residents that are then published by those prestigious newspapers. But the New Mexican brilliantly captures the essential National and international news plus the state news. Everything I need to know.
It’s interesting how the Albuquerque Journal distorts the news by NOT publishing important news and keeping it’s readers in the dark … while being spoon-fed conservative-leaning articles. Sigh. I guess that’s the Republican playbook in action. So sad.
Keep informed! Subscribe to the New Mexican. It’s the best gift you can give yourself.

Love the (e) NMexican
I LOVE The Santa Fe New Mexican for its local and investigative reporting and writers, its excellent photographers, and its editorial choices in presenting a broad, balanced, representative mix of nat/international stories from other media (partic the AP).
I now live out of state and subscribe also to the Wash Post and the NYT but if I could only get one, yours would be my choice for satisfying scope of coverage.
I find that the e-New Mexican is also much easier and enjoyable to read than the other online presentations of print edition and online. Your pages flip and expand more easily. (Perhaps because I only get the "e-hard copy" and don't check your website) I find my access to news, features, and opinion reliably straightforward whereas the two national papers present (to my mind) a lopsided offering of opinion/analysis embedded within a breaking news and most-read stories online format without good connection to various sections (your section offerings I find very satisfying).
Thank you for the thought and hard work/ talent that goes into your daily and much appreciated enterprise. I value you very much.
Best,
Sara Hope Franks

Wonderful print edition substitute
On phone or tablet, this digital edition of the New Mexican reads like the original. When the economics of home delivery service become unsustainable, my subscription will continue, thanks to the care they’ve put into this app.
Excellent
This is a close as you can come to having an actual paper newspaper in front of you. Easy to navigate and great format.
