Love the channel but for a channel with such high caliber shows the app is worthless.
App won’t load
Absolutely garbage app. It won’t load on my smart tv, so I tried to screen mirror from my phone onto my tv and it got flagged as me trying to record the show. This was after I had to delete other apps to make room (large app, almost 9mb). Terrible product, stay away

Love the content, not the ads
I love the shows A&E produces, especially Squatters and Hoarders. It is nice to see people being helped.
Some of us cannot afford cable services so it is unfortunate that episodes are locked and ads are so frequent though.

Love A&E Content: Hate The TOO Frequent Ads
As a person who has worked in the broadcast, cable and digital media world for over 2.5 decades, this one is rough for even me. The ad frequency feels like every :120 seconds & it frankly becomes frustrating. There are 2 different ad types that pop up & make the viewing experience less than enjoyable. The user decides which ad to view by clicking one of two choices. The first ad choice is a :30 interactive ad which I must physically click to “return to content” after the ad content plays. The 2nd ad choice is either a :120 or a :150 second ad (can’t recall off the top of my head) that the user must simply sit thorough. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to use the app simply because there are ads happening SO frequently. I wish there were another option to enjoy this network. It truly is one of my favorites. If commercials and required interaction don’t bother you, I’m sure you’ll love it! Side note…your ad sales team/traffic team or DSP needs to step up their game because I watched the same B of A ad in every single break 😂

Endless adds, literally.
I watch my show and it eventually rolls to adds. I can choose 30 seconds to watch 1 add and get back to the show. I chose and watched the 30 seconds. But the problem lies with sending you back to the show, IT DOESNT OCCURE! Tryed it again, same result, hence perpetual adds👎🏻Whatever man

The ads mess up all the time and can leave you stuck for 2-3 mins please only do 30 min or ad the skip option like YouTube. Thank you

I get spammed with 30 second ads. I know it’s only three, but it starts to add up.
Too many limitations…
I could not put the App on my brand new Smart TV without a whole rigamarole. AND, wayyy too many commercials. And when they’re on, you can’t control your phone or iPad! NOT cool :/ They have good shows, but too many limitations!
App is awful
The shows and the fact is free is great but tubi has a better website then A & E app. Ask u if u want to watch adds, play what u selected then play an additional 3 adds, the app itself is just bad. Glitches out to make you watch more adds, blacks out and completely cuts off. Many bugs that needed to be fixed before they decided to launch

My first encounter with A&E app from an advertisement for Squatter Hunters. I have had no issues with episodes. Streaming is fast and uninterrupted. Commercials are fine. Thanks for the free entertainment. Totally 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome & free but limited and glitchy
Love that it’s free! They aren’t duping you and it has a great selection for crime/guilty pleasure shows. The transition to ads is super glitchy & takes awhileeee to load. Same with scrolling thru episodes, but it’s functional with a lot of patience. The content that IS locked behind your cable provider is somewhat random & nonsensical, but that’s okay b/c it also means at least 1 episode or season of any show is available for free. Their types of shows don’t need to be in order anyways.
Logging into your TV provider for full access is annoyingly impossible—who has that info? No one in my house can figure out what cable user we created 15 years ago and it’s not really worth reseting it just for this site. Lost to time! Enjoying this app nonetheless. If they fix the bugs/loading/UI issues it’d be a 5

Aweful services
Horrible. Since update. I have been able to watch my first 48 hrs
Commercials just get worse
Starts out as a 30 second commercial, but you have to tap the screen. Then it’s longer, and it requires a survey or it gives you a 2:30 commercial. Just gets too much. Shows are fine, but seriously!
Casting is Horrible
Any time you bring up the app after casting, it resets the show. I can’t leave the app on my phone or else I can’t pause it or control the closed captioning without the show restarting. It’s 2026, this shouldn’t be an issue.
