Deflection calc is way off
Change to 4 stars (from 1 star). The calcs appear to be correct, but the label for Elastic Modulus on the Span pages can be incorrect. That label doesn’t change when you change the units on the properties page (unless you stop and restart the app). The units used are what you set on properties page, NOT necessarily what shows on the Span pages.
I have a 202 inch long beam subject to moderate forces. The calculated deflection is over 400 inches! Earlier versions worked and gave a reasonable 0.54 inch deflection.

Great tool
This is a great tool, it does crash every now an then but delivers results. It would be great it it used standard steel sections as input and/or suggest a standard steel section based of minimum deformation required.

This APP used to be my favorite app ever, now is not friendly, crashes and the pdf printouts are not legible... Please bring back the previous version Please!!!...

Sawadi Khub, This used to be a great app, the UI changes are appalling and crashes more often. I wish I could go back to previous version. I don't know if I can use previous UI because it crashes every time I hit settings. It's still the best beam app on the iStore, I just don't understand the unnecessary change. Also, a shape database akin to the truss HD would be awesome.
