Here me out
I have to say that I think you should have like some fun games on the app that will help kids learn to spell new words. So I hope sometime you will upgrade the app and add spelling games on there. But it does help me spell

But I don’t like it because for some reason I can’t create an account!
But I recommend buying PRO features if you get this app.
And you can’t split spelling tests though.

Awesome way to help kids revise spelling. You/they (if they’re old enough) can create a spelling list, record yourself saying the words and then they have several ways to practice.
Unscramble, which gives them the letters and they can hear the word and arrange them (hopefully) correctly.
Practice which gives them the audio, plus the option for a sneaky peak at the word if they can’t remember,
Ace it - they just get the audio,
then Test which marks them and gives the option to redo ones they get wrong.
The best thing for me, is that even my Reception age daughter can do it without my help - which is always split between more than one child and their homework - so that makes a huge difference to me being able to mange their homework time.

Recording
The recording function in the app is not working so I can manually type in the spelling words, but when I go to hit the playback button after recording the words, nothing plays back
Can’t believe this
Can’t believe! I cannot change the dialect! Sometimes I get it right and It thinks I’m wrong but I have checked! EG: scan is s c a n but It thinks it has a silent p! I can’t understand anything! Also last time I played it, I was in year one now I am in year 6! How do I get harder spellings! I now how to spell an, or and if but I can’t hear it increase volume please! In conclusion, I can’t understand it, the words are not hard, sometimes when I get it right it says it is wrong and I can’t hear the audio! Disappointed , 1 star, thanks for reading my review! P.S. I thought It was good in year 1 but when I showed it to my parents they said it had a lot spelling errors when they tried, haven’t played since year 1.

Great review
I teach spec Ed and many of my students use this app to review spelling words. I have the students enter their own list. This helps them work on saying the words clearly. Then they use A+ to review the words. They also have the option of using it as their assessment at the end of the week instead of writing (which is hard for some of my students). This is a good program!

I am delighted to have found this app! But I have A BIG COMPLAINT! I cannot pass the parent gate on my Mac book air because it expects touchscreen which my Mac does not have. Please make a change like a times table because most children will have no idea how to do that. Thank you fro everyone who read my review even though most of you will not. Owners please develop a new system for the parnt gtae, it is a great idea. Anyways, my sister has it and she absolutly loves it! Please add these changes because you just lost a good 5 stars! No playback?
I wish the playback worked! It is such a great concept. A review from 3 years ago reported the same issue. How is this still not working?

She had many problems in the first place and I got the app and she get better and she seems like she feels very sad using it

This app is amazing to study for my Greek tests! Let’s say I need to learn a word and the meaning this is just awesome, I don’t know why people say that it’s ugly it’s an app for learning doesn’t have to be pretty! Over all it’s just perfect ( I used this for my test and aced it 94%)
