Love it, please add more!!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this game & would recommend it to anyone, but have now reached episode “shelf life” (S2 E2) and it says “not available in English yet”. I’m so hooked on this story! Please tell me there are plans for it to be released and this is not an abandoned project! I’m concerned as every review and post I see about it seems to be old…?

Support never responds when you ask for help.
I want to enjoy this game. It seems to have a lot of potential to be a really good game. But unfortunately it’s so buggy and trying to reach out to developers/customer support is useless as no one will respond even after weeks of waiting.
One, Helpy tells you near the beginning of the game that he’s giving you 10 free “Nutrition” which is basically in game currency. Well, I didn’t receive my 10 free Nutrition.
The game randomly crashes and closes frequently.
The option to watch video ads is broken; no matter how many times you watch a “rewarded ad” you never get the reward. Nothing happens. I’ve tried using the rewarded ad option for both skipping wait times and unlocking new episodes and absolutely nothing happens either way. No tickets, and still have to wait for the next message. I have wasted so much time watching the ads hoping maybe one would actually give me the reward but they just never do.
I also usually don’t mind paying a few bucks for things in a game and supporting the devs. But unfortunately I don’t dare try to make any actual $ purchases on this app when I have experienced so many problems with it and can’t even get any response or help from the team I’d be giving my money to.

Gefällt mir sehr gut, ich habe schon 2017 The Parallax gespielt.
Ich habe nur leider gesehen, dass sich hier seit ein paar Jahren nichts mehr getan hat bevor ich wieder angefangen habe. Darf man denn irgendwann mit einer Fortsetzung rechnen? Bei so einer langen Pause hätte ich schon gedacht, dass man zumindest auf einem Blog informiert wird ob es je weiter geht oder nicht.

Ich vermisse David!
Ich war schon von Anfang an dabei, als es noch „The Parallax“ war.
Dieses Spiel hat mich bisher mehr in den Bann gezogen als alle anderen, vor allem die fürs Handy und ich spiele einige Spiele.
A void society hat seinen ganz eigenen, wundervollen Charme. David und auch die anderen Charaktere muss man einfach ins Herz schließen. Ich spiele das Spiel mindestens 1 Mal im Jahr, einfach weil es immer wieder Spaß macht und spannend ist.
Es gibt mittlerweile einige Spiele in dem Genre aber keins kommt an AVS ran.
Leider, leider scheint es das Team nicht mehr zu geben. Die letzte Episode kam vor über einem Jahr raus, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere. Auf dem Blog gibt es seither auch nichts Neues mehr. Es wäre unglaublich schade, wenn es sich für den Entwickler einfach nicht mehr gelohnt hätte. Ich habe das Bezahlsystem ohne zu zögern genutzt, denn hier kriegt man was für kleines Geld!
Ich hoffe immernoch dass die Geschichte im David noch nicht vorbei ist, auch wenn ich befürchte dass wir nie erfahren werden wo und mit wem er am Ende gelandet ist. Trotzdem danke an das Team für dieses äußerst besondere und wirklich spaßige, spannend und liebevoll gestaltete Spiel! Ich werde David und Helpi in Erinnerung behalten und sicher immer mal wieder spielen.

I like this game so far but having to wait for the timer every time is annoying! I’m still in chapter one and it’s bugging me so much!
Plus the ads to skip it does not work! Will be deleting immediately. Might check back in a couple of months to see.

Good game but some issues
I really enjoy the story and the game. I finished episode 2 and it I really good. It would be even better with some pictures or audio sometimes in the story and would be very immersive. However there is somes issues in the game.
First there is some text that are not translated and it is frustrating. I play in French and I understand English, at some point all my text was in English and then for back in French. But sometimes I have one choice in French and all other choice in German I think or another language that I can’t read. So it is frustrating not to be able to really chose since I can’t understand the lines.
Also it is great to have the possibility to view adds to move faster or to have another episode however a lot of time I try to look an add and I have the message that there is no add at the moment and this can go on for a couples of hours.
Last thing it is impossible to start the other stories gamer or hunted. I click on it and it try to load and never do. I waited more than 5-10 minutes and still not loading.
Hopefully those issues can be solved. I would love to read the other stories to.

I love this game a lot but the latest update is very laggy 🥺 edit; I’ve figured out that if you play without music and vibration it’s 100% smooth but I would like to be able to play with a soundtrack again

Ich mag die Philosophie der Entwickler, dass man das Game sehr weit testen kann und man sich dann erst entscheiden muss, will ich dafür etwas bezahlen oder spiele ich mit Werbung weiter.

I’ve played a TON of interactive/immersive text-choices style games, so I’ve become pretty picky about the ones I’ll continue playing.
Well, I started A Void Society about a month ago, then after the first four episodes (I believe) of the first season, I bought the membership and finished the rest up within the week.
I was really disappointed to see that Season 2 Episode 2 had not yet debuted. Even worse, when I look to the last update, it seems it was 9 months ago with Season 2 starting in 2021.
I don’t believe it’s the developers’ faults as they seem extraordinary and admirably committed to this project. But I was rather surprised at the fact there were only 10 ratings, with only four(?) of those having written reviews (hence why I decided to add mine).
We all know the apocalypse thing has been done a million times, but this story has a lot more depth to it with many personal interactions you make with multiple characters. It’s not as immersive as say, Duskwood, or The Healing, but it’s definitely far more than just a text based story. I really hope more people decide to give it a try, because I can’t see it continuing it people aren’t playing. :( And I hate it when stories are just cut off with no ending!
Unfortunately I had to cancel my membership, as there was no purpose in leaving my account to be charged monthly when I have played everything that’s been released through. Really hoping that downloads for this app pick up - you won’t regret playing it, trust me! - and I get to see more of David & Co.’s adventure and how their future plays out.

Unglaublich gut gemachtes und mitreißendes Spiel
Ich schreibe eigentlich keine Bewertungen, aber da ich auch seit der Beta-Version ‘The Parallaxe’ schon dabei bin und das Spiel bis heute verfolge und gerne spiele, dachte ich, ich lass vielleicht auch mal eine Bewertung da. Also anfangs kann man sagen, dass das Spiel wirklich top gemacht ist. Von der Story her bis zur Art, wie die Story erzählt wird, findet man von so einem Game kein besseres meines Erachtens. Mit den Charakteren über Chat zu interagieren und ihre Hintergrundgeschichten zu erfahren plus Entscheidungen zu beeinflussen und mit ihnen ihr momentanes Leben durchzuleben, ist einfach genial umgesetzt und kann man einfach nur empfehlen, besonders für Fans, die es lieben Apokalypsen-artigen Storylines zu verfolgen.
Da ich nun auch auf die ‘A Void Society’ gewechselt habe, hätte ich da vielleicht einen kleinen Kritikpunkt oder was ich an sich sehr cool fände, wäre zum Einen, wenn man im Chat das Bild von einem selber individuell aus zB. Fotos oder einfach voreingestellten Bildern wählen könnte, um von den unbekannten Nachrichten nochmal unterschieden werden zu können und zum Anderen, dass man vielleicht pro Tag eine bestimmte Anzahl an Videos gucken kann, um Pausen zu überspringen, weil ich das wesentlich besser fand in der Beta-Version als jetzt dafür Geld zu bezahlen.
Das wäre alles.
Ich wünsche auf jeden Fall jedem viel Spaß, der dieses Spiel auf Zufall entdeckt hat und es hoffentlich beginnt zu spielen :)

Game is fun, the English is terrible
Response choices don’t make sense half the time to the questions asked by characters, I bought the add on anyways but would like to see that improved to be a 5 star game automatically and better than many of the other big name interactive mystery games on iOS. Very fun so far but needs to be written in proper English for the story to make sense.

Hatte anfangs ein paar Probleme mit dem Spielstand übertragen und mit der App an sich. Hab mich dann per Mail beim Support gemeldet und mir wurde geholfen. Jetzt klappt alles wieder super und die Geschichte kann weitergehen. 😊👌🏼

Eines von vielen Text-Adventures…könnte man denken aber nicht hier. Hier hat man eine viel bessere Story sehr sympathische Charaktere und viel mehr zudem auch noch kostenlos eines der besten Text Adventure meiner Meinung nach.

Nachdem ich durch einen Freund auf diese (bzw. die eigentliche alte „The Parallax“) App aufmerksam gemacht wurde fesselte mich die Story immer mehr.
Entwickler und Support sind Spitze! Nachdem mein Spielstand nach einem Reset des iPhones nicht richtig wiederhergestellt wurde war Helpi so nett und hat mir hier geholfen damit ich nun mit Staffel 3 weitermachen kann. Tausend Dank nochmal dafür.
Freu mich über jede neue Episode!

Spannende Story
Habe unter der alten App angefangen und bin nun hier gelandet. Die Spielstandübertragung hat nicht funktioniert, könnte allerdings auch ein Fehler meinerseits gewesen sein, deshalb will ich nichts sagen.
Ich persönlich finde schade, dass man Nutrition nicht mit Werbung vorratsmäßig erwerben kann, das stört mich etwas im Spielfluss, deshalb 4 Sterne! Sonst top!
