I'm sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected in the background. First you will need to add a non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track to your music library via the iTunes Store app or via iTunes on Mac/PC. Then make sure that you configure A2DPblocker in the following way: 1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc. 2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure "A2DP Blocker" switch is ON. 3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked. 4) Ensure "Remote Control" switch is OFF. 5) Set Default Audio to "speaker+" / "receiver" / "speaker" to block A2DP or "headset+" to default audio output via HFP. 6) Play Playback Queue. 7) Minimize A2DPblocker to the background, but do not close A2DPblocker from the app switcher. 8) Launch and configure your other audio app or begin playing the iPod with the built-in iPod controls or an attached accessory.

I need a refund

The audio streaming is very poor when you run it through the app, it loses audio quality when compared to the Bluetooth steaming. Plus you only limited on streaming your own music. You can steam Pandora or spotify. I request a full refund from the developer since it didn't meet my expectations. Thank you!

Will not work in background

Battery drainer. The app has to be actively displayed on your phone. You cannot use your phone for ANYTHING else if you want to listen.

Not worth the hassle/money

Tried this, it is not seamless. Expected to launch a podcast and listen without needing additional step of also launching this app. Don’t know how to request a refund!

You may just need to grant A2DPblocker access to your media library. Go to "Setting / A2DPblocker / Allow A2DPblocker to Access" and enable "Media & Apple Music”. When you first install A2DPblocker it requests access to your media library, which it most certainly needs. I hope this helps.

Works but could be better

It’s annoying that the app doesn’t run in the background. If you leave the app (go to home screen or maximize any other app) it will disconnect from the Bluetooth device.

More annoying is if you try to use navigation with this it will disconnect and stop working after the first set of directions (again probably because the navigation app takes priority and this won’t stay on in the background. Android has free apps that work better than this paid app for iOS.

It works but it’s not stellar. Unfortunately there aren’t many alternatives, as far as I can tell

Appli au top!!

Ayant une oreillette Bluetooth moto scala rider et un iphone 7, je n’arrivais pas a avoir de son.
J’ai téléchargé cette app mais toujours idem.
Un petit mail au développeur super sympa et il a directement vu que j’avais mal réglé !!
Depuis tout marche nikel et c’est super, enfin waze a moto

Does not work with iOS 11

I got this thinking I could play music like normal through Bluetooth. Technically it does play music but when you click “next” the app plays the next song... while still playing the current song simultaneously! This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Please make sure that you do not close A2DPblocker from the app switcher once it is configured in the following way: 1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc. 2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure "A2DP Blocker" switch is ON. 3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue on iOS 4.0 or later and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked. 4) Ensure "Remote Control" switch is OFF. 5) Set Default Audio to "speaker+" / "receiver" / "speaker" to block A2DP or "headset+" to default audio output via HFP. 6) Play Playback Queue. 7) Launch and configure your other audio app or begin playing the iPod with the built-in iPod controls or an attached accessory.
