App works wonderfully

I’m so glad to see this app doesn’t have ads or in app purchases. This is a wonderful resource to alcoholics like me and others all around the world, and to see someone create one without profit really strikes my heart as a kind gesture sent out into the world. Thank you for making this.

Date Management

Daily reflections are great. This application has become ridiculous as the date is now consistently off by a day. I will try it one more time but daily reflections is also in the ‘Everything AA’ app and might just be easier as this is not rocket science and they have made it frustrating. I have the power to not get frustrated by not using this app. 😄

Ability to Highlight?

Thank you for this app, Steve! Wondering though if ability to highlight text could be added, as well as ability to ‘favorite’ a day’s reflection. Also hoping to see ability to swipe between days to review them.

No support to app

Apple should remove the app since the developer has no interest in fixing problems

Issues with the calendar

Like Dan B, a year ago, I can’t access the last line of the calendar and the reading did not automatically turn to the new day during the last week of the month. I like to share the readings with women I sponsor so this makes that process harder. I’m going to reload the app but reading the comment from a year ago doesn’t give me much hope. Linda B

App feedback - calendar broken

Sharing five stars because it’s extremely useful and the only app that I allow notifications.

but the app calendar visual doesn’t work. The last week of every month is cut off. Just let us type the date.

iPhone SE 2nd gen and otheres complain too.

Daily reflection

Date on calendar does not change-one. Date stays !!

Calendar

When the calendar is displayed it only shows the first part of the month. To the 21st or so.

Calendar issues

I have loaded and unloaded this app several times, hoping to resolve a problem with the calendar search. It appears that on my iPhone that only the first three lines of a month are visible. If I wanted to choose a date towards the bottom of the calendar, it would not be available for choosing, whether the phone is in a vertical or horizontal position. This has caused me to delete and replace it with another option. I am only sending this message to you so that you are aware of your access issue to your calendar search feature. Thank you, Dan B

Doesn’t work

This at doesn’t let you put in a date past the 19th of any month.
I was using this for my first 15 months and then it just froze. Looks like it never got fixed

Daily reader. Mistake on June 28

I use this daily reader to help keep me focused on being grateful.

The mistake in the app has ‘five’ where it should be ‘live’

Spelling

There is a lot of miss spelled words in the app. I’m not sure who was the publisher and seems like spell check was not used . May 24th and may 16th for example. And there’s more

May 24th needs corrections

"HAPPY, JOYOUS AND FREE"

We are sure God wants us to be happy, joyous, and free. We cannot subscribe to the belief that this life is vale of tears, though it once was just that for many f us. But it is clear that we made our own misery, rod didn't do it. Avoid then, the deliberate manufacture of misery, but if trouble comes, cheerfully capitalize it as an opportunity to demonstrate His omnipotence.
— ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS, p. 133

For years I believed in a punishing God and blamed him for my misery. I have learned that I must lay down the "weapons" of self in order to pick up the "tools" of the A.A. program. I do not struggle with he program because it is a gift and I have never struggled when receiving a gift. If I sometimes keep MI struggling, it is because I'm still hanging onto my old ideas and " . . . the results are nil."

Please refresh the reflection when the app opens

Good app, but a major annoyance - it does not check to make sure that the reflection matches the current day on open. Unless you force close the app, you won’t get the current days reflection. Please add functionality to refresh the app when the date of reflection doesn’t match current date. Thanks!

This is such a great app. Very easy to use and navigate through.

Useless

Could not enter sobriety date

Okay, but

When entering my sobriety date there is no monthly or yearly header, just a blue squiggly line. This is on my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.8.1. Also, ir would be nice for there to be an introduction to the app explaining the history of the AA Daily Reflections and that the app is (or is not) word for word accurate to the current text in book form.
