About

“Maine advance diya tha na?” Never have that argument again. If your home runs on a cook, maid, driver or doodhwala, you already keep the hisaab — in your head, on a fridge note, or in messages to yourself. Aangan writes it down properly, so month-end becomes a clear record instead of a negotiation. The salary tangle, solved. Mark attendance in one tap. Record advances when cash leaves your hand. Settle salary from what actually happened, then create a bilingual slip you can keep or share. Every rupee in one view. See bills, subscriptions, salaries, deliveries and daily spending together, with categories, trends and a straightforward monthly summary. The paper, when it matters. Scan receipts and documents, lock sensitive records with Face ID, track warranties and expiries, and optionally export due dates to a dedicated Aangan calendar. The remembering, handled. Track recurring services, milk or newspaper counters, errands, groceries, meals, contacts and household handoffs. Aangan reminds you when something is due and otherwise stays quiet. Private by design. No ads, analytics or Kunba account. Household data stays on your iPhone and, when iCloud is available, in your own private iCloud. You can pause sync in Settings. Made for India: ₹1,00,000 formatting, IST calendars, hisaab-style ledgers, Hinglish search, Panchang, and UPI hand-off to installed payment apps.

What's New in Aangan

1.4.2

October 5, 2026

- Meals: don't worry about what to cook today — pick from 660+ Indian dishes with recipes, approximate nutrition, Hindi names, a video link and Veg / Vegan / Jain filters, and their ingredients go straight onto your Groceries list. - Today: a new "What to cook?" row opens the dish list in one tap, and a planned meal opens its recipe. - Groceries: items sort into the right aisle (baingan with vegetables, soy with dals, chutneys on their own). - Salary: the staff screen now shows the month you're paying, says clearly when it's paid and on which day, and the UPI button pays the right month. - Staff payments: record salary for any month (or per visit) without it counting as an advance — Aangan asks when you pay more than it shows as due. A new "Other" type covers money that isn't salary. - Staff list: see what's due and any advance still out, at a glance. - Vendors: a month calendar for deliveries, and "Paid till date" now includes payments recorded in the Khata. - Dish pages: cleaner tags, a nutrition card, recipe steps you open when you need them, and a link to video recipes on YouTube. - Counters: a counter without a name now asks to be named right at the top. - Sharing a home is offered only to its owner.
