App still stinks

Very laggy, keeps restarting if you swap apps, crashes often. App continues to disappoint year after year

Not great

Does not load consistently, crashes frequently. No way to export/save slides as last year

Great application for navigating the conference

Great for note taking and organization of lectures, but occasionally crashing. I appreciate having it add these programs to the calendar to easily monitor where to go next on my schedule.

Lenta slow

Lenta no dice cuando se repite la conferencia salió tarde

App experience

Difficult to tell what is virtual and slides sometimes load other times don't

Endless updating

I’d like this app better if it didn’t keep updating during the middle of talks. Having to completely log in and go through all the registration screens several times a day gets frustrating.

The constant logging off is frustrating.

Incredibly frustrating that it logged me out every few minutes through the whole NCE.
If I changed screens for just a moment I had to log back in. Or if I took a photo of a slide, or I got a text message. Sometimes it would say no internet even if there was clearly 5 bars of WiFi internet.
The slides were not able to upload sometimes for the entire duration of the lecture. And then if I went back into it I’d have to reload all slides again. Sometimes they just didn’t ever open up at all.
When it’s working it’s pretty good but I think I had to login 100+ times this week and it’s frustrating. Can it not save our info? Use facial recognition to log in like most other apps? Or stay logged in until you log out or once per 24 hours? That would be appreciated.

Access to livestream sessions

I am having tremendous difficulty accessing the livestream events. Definitely something to repair for future conventions

Slow

There are so many things in this app, but it’s glitchy - just trying to get to my schedule is a multi-step, likely-to-freeze process that is highly frustrating. Bring back the little paper book that doesn’t glitch.

Login every time open aap

I have to log in every time I open the app. Front screen is too busy.
Not easy to navigate.

Needs a lot of work

A glitchy nightmare that is constantly logging out, getting stuck on a blank screen, and freezing.

The app is OK when it is functioning. However, room changes are often not reflected in it, a lot of slides have not been uploaded, and favoriting oral and poster abstracts should link up into the my schedule section because it is very challenging to know what to be where if you want to go to abstracts and plenary sessions.

AAP conference app review

App is very slow and glitchy and requires constant reopening

Review

Can’t get the full schedule anymore

Very slow

The app is extremely slow to respond, also freezes frequently, and if snow and “thinking”, generally it gets stuck that way and never resolves requiring reset.

Too slow

It’s too slow. It freezes up frequently.

Eats battery

This thing consumes battery like there is no tomorrow. It is like it’s mining bitcoin. Or computing the national debt.

“Improving User Experience: The Need for Streamlined Login Options”

The app constantly requires signing in and out, making it cumbersome to use. It would greatly benefit from features like a “Save Password and Email” button or Face ID integration for more seamless user experience.

Not friendly

Takes me out every time, for the first time since I’ve been using the app u have to re enter every time with my ID as it was the first time

Bugs

Crashing, not saving notes. Slow to load.

Buggy!

Forces me to login each time and crashes
