Just switched from the ABC which is so heavily bias these days. Such an instant improvement in the quality of news, very happy.
Great Content but the Ugly New Font.
Up to now loving the great content and easy on the eye layout and readability. Court reporting as always impeccable.
Then I did an iPad app update and almost cried.
Where’s the iconic blue gone!
Research shows the eye scans certain fonts and layouts online better than others.
The app updated to reveal a rebrand to an ugly old fashioned print style font a la SMH (print) making it all much less readable.
As for the logo. Ugh.
Still great content though.

No Spin
It’s nice not having to wade through editorials and spin to find the news.

I love the fact I can read the simple facts about current affairs without clickbait and without opinion.
AAP is great app
This app is great. Does all you need News and everything great reporting
However, the only thing is, I couldn’t afford the subscriptions. I had to get rid of it, but can understand.

Wire reporting is of paramount importance in our democracy. AAP’s ethical standards are impeccable. When politicians and big business try to undermine the news, AAP stands firm. Even rivals - former owners News Corp and Nine - tried to silence to silence AAP. They valued AAP as worthless. Yet AAP survived. Love the AAP approach: we report the facts. Too many MSM publications make it hard to locate any actual reporting in their sea of opinion/editorial/commentary.

Very disappointing that there is no search capacity to read older articles. Otherwise would be five star.
Hopeless
Dowloaded the app (AppStore couldn’t find it twice). Said it would send an “authorisation email”, which never came. Tried twice. Gave up. What a crock!
