Awesome! Please add a photo button

This is a genuinely cool app, super well built literally reminds me of all the VHS footage from when I was a kid. Would love a photo button to snap a picture too!

Good but lack of settings

This is pretty good with emulating a older camera but there isn’t that much setting

Great

I love this app so much, gives great quality really cool looking videos and all for free! Recommend the app Aaron8mm also.

Someone needs to take this app away from me

I’m having way too much fun with this app due to the lights

So cool!

Easy app layout, realistic motion, overall very fun! Not 5 stars because I think they should add a flashlight button for very low light situations.

Amazing!

Outside of Pro Camera style control apps. These are my favorite kind of apps. Ones that emulate vintage cameras well, and this one is an absolute banger!

Excellent work by the developer. We need more stuff like this!

It’s pretty rad

I haven’t been this excited about a camera app in a hot minute. The process of how Aaron was able to develop this app is incredible. Another testament to his genius. Clean, simple, retro UI. Love it!

Sublime

Aaron has recreated the 80s aesthetic here perfectly. I’m so glad he did. It’s the best app out there that does this, and is so amazingly accurate I’m
Still in shock.

Also the app is FREE!!! No subscriptions. No purchases. What a guy Aaron, thank you so much.

Beyond the VHS look

I remember the look of old tube cameras in the UK - Doctor Who, Top of the Pops etc, and that trail on highlights

I’ve tried faking it in post before, isolating highlights and adding motion blur to those - but this goes a step beyond, using 240fps internally and simulating after image.

Would love to see 25/50 fps supported, and I wonder if it would ever work as a post effect in Resolve at lower frame rates like 120

Accurate

I liked the visual effects and it looks pretty close to analog, great app

It really looks like the camera I had

Pretty nostalgic!

The Real Deal

Scary accurate!
