Smooth and easy to use
Was at first hesitant to pay the price but the app works very smoothly and is not cluttered with anything unnecessary, helps me to hear differences clearly in my mixes!
Perfect
Simple, effective. Love that the tracks are already synced. Exactly what I was in need for. In the future, if you guys are planning to do updates, it would be nice to have a “Trim” to match levels when necessary or even an auto match. Thanks for the app. Really useful
simple and perfect
it's the kind of thing that when you need it, you need it, and this does it in a no-fuss, no feature bloat way
Great and simple tool for A/B'ing
Using in mixing/mastering environment, specially helpful when comparing mixes vs masters for clients.
Excellent app- wish I could set the start time of each song individually.
Simple interface. Perfect for what you’d want this tool to do. The only thing it needs is to be able to individually set the play back parameters of each song. If I’m comparing my mix with another song, I would like to be able to scrub to each chorus, for example, individually and compare, instead of having to compare 1:22 seconds at each file.
I can see it would be useful to compare the same time too, if I’m A/B-ing versions of the same song. Maybe a toggle that allows you to turn on or off individual times?

very useful
a mono/stereo toggle would be great
Exactly what it says and brilliantly
I have been searching high and low (and spending major $) for an app like this since QuickTime 7! Elegantly implemented with a nice big volume slider this is perfect if you are comparing mixes or checking for mastering artifacts. Well Done!!
Thumbs Up!
Yodeling, thanks for your review. I have been looking for an app like this for years. I love how simple everything is. Love it!
My only request would be some form of audio leveling between the two songs. Sometimes I’ll do a mix I don’t slam the limiter as much and when I switch back and forth, I want to hear it at the same volume. Maybe even a volume slider on each track?
It’s this possible?
Otherwise, this app is near perfect.

Perfection
Sometimes you wish you had a certain tool, do a google search, find exactly what you're looking for, buy it, use it, be impressed that it works exactly how you imagined, then come back and write a 5-star review for it. Thanks!
Error messages on all music files
I just purchased this app for iOS and receive the error message “import error: please check file integrity” on every audio file I’ve attempted to load so far. The files are all .wavs from my iCloud Drive and when I attempt to import from my music folder on the phone alternatively…nothing happens.
I truly hope this is fixable as this app is something which would greatly improve my mastering workflow on the go.

Response from developer
Hi Myra, Please uninstall the app and install version 2.1 which has just been released. You will find that the issue has been fixed. Thanks for your feedback!
Many bugs
It works, sometimes. I've had it crash when trying to open (they call it 'import') a music file, and it often say 'import failed, file damaged' when trying to open (import) a music/song file, with the fix seeming to be to exit the app and try again (there is nothing wrong with the music/song files).
Also, I discovered that this app makes a copy of the music/song files in it own application container folder within the operating system, so they build up there, wasting space - I only discovered this because I happened to be searching for a song file by name and accidentally had it search my entire Mac drive.
Between crashes (MacOS Big Sur 11.4), and having to exit and start the app twice each time to get it to load files, plus making a copy of the files (seems to be why they call it 'import' rather than just 'open') and leaving them undeleted, this app isn't worth it, even if free.
But it did make me look at Audacity, a fantastic audio editor program, that is free, and you can load multiple music/song files, select them all, and use the Solo button to to A/B (and /C/D/...) comparisons, easily adjust the level of each to match, and added thigns like being able to shift the song slightly so they all line up with each other - a far better A/B/C/... comparison system!!! Plus you see the waveform and far more data about each file!

It Does What It Says on the Tin
This app does exactly what it says it will and it does it all on one screen. Cannot ask for more.
I bought this because I wanted to compare Taylor Swift’s original Fearless album with her re-recording. This app unlocked a new listening experience for those albums.

Exactly what I needed, wonderful job
Simple and effective , I love it.
Simple tool, does exactly what I need!
For years, I’ve been putting my mixes into iTunes to get them into iTunes cloud to get them on my phone, where then I try to jump back and forth between two versions of a mix and skip to the same point to compare them. It just never really worked well. Plus, iTunes/Apple Music player is often doing its own volume adjustments and sound tricks, so it is hard to really gauge a mix in there.
I finally went looking for a comparison tool and this is perfect.
It can import from iTunes or iCloud Drive, which is much nicer than filling up my iTunes library with dozens of different mixes. Especially in the final album stage when I just want to evaluate the whole work.
It has already made my mixes better. It’s easy and quick to jump between A and B version, and to scan through time with both files staying in sync.

I have been looking for an app like this
I just want to say that this app is so fricken helpful. Initially I didn’t think it would work as when I first opened the app up and tried to import a track from my google drive to “A” it didn’t work, then I imported to “B” and then “A” worked and I’ve had no problems with it at all since (with “A” being track one and “B” track two). Not only could I select which part of the song I want to listen to by using the A and B button but you can seamlessly go between both tracks. Not to mention that when I turned my iPhone on it’s side the screen changed to show me two separate levels where I can see the loudness leaves playing in real time. I’ve been doing some mastering on my iPhone and I have been searching for something like this for weeks, so glad that you made this. Completely worth the price, thank you !!
