Invaluable tool for children with ASD
This app is fantastic! It has been a very supportive tool for our six-year-old daughter who has ASD. I have yet to find an app that is more beneficial for kiddos on the spectrum, and I’m sure it’s equally beneficial for neurotypical children. It makes foundational skills such as matching, sorting, listener responding , and many more programs easy to practice and acquire. You can also customize targets around whatever your child is currently working on.
You can tell that the developer has a real clinical background. The parent controls and autonomy over the programming are great, and the reward system (quick mini-games and video clips right after trials) keeps our daughter motivated without causing frustration.
The highlight of this app is the automatic data tracking. It logs exactly where she’s succeeding and where she gets stuck, which makes it super easy to track progress and will be extremely beneficial to share with a BCBA, therapy team, or even for an IEP. It’s so nice to finally have a well thought out educational app that includes all of the things that our daughter works on in her therapies!

This app is perfect for parents and a functional alternative to YouTube or game apps for kids where they learn new skills and are given breaks after. Fully customizable. If you have a kid at home on the spectrum or are looking for an alternative to tablet time, give it a shot.
