Worst Streaming App on Offer

The latest update sees me watching a circle spinning around the ABC logo for a couple of minutes. Terrible update

Since latest update the app is extremely buggy and slow

I watch the ABC via this app on my LG smart TV. Since the app updated a week or so ago, there are now two load screens that take 3-4 minutes to progress through before the app even opens. After that, once you click to watch a channel, there’s another 1 minute load screen while the channel loads. This is by a very large margin a much worse experience than regular broadcast TV, where once you were able to switch a television on and start watching the broadcast literally immediately.

The app not working

I used to be using it and after the update of the app. It just block me out and I am not able to login or register. Please fix it ASAP.

Tried to login multiple ways (iPad). Can’t do it. Terrible “upgrade”

Can’t login

Tried resets and onetime code multiple times without any success. Given up trying.

The sun is a deadly laser

Pretty good

Subtitles

Please consider proper proportional font Subtitles.

Please consider high on screen display for them, on top of the ticker blots out essential content most times.

Please consider transparency for them.

Any additional control for the viewer would be great.

Needs download function

Good but needs a download function so you can watch stuff offline

Unhappy

I have had iview for a number of years but have just updated my iPad and tried to log in again, given it doesn’t recognise me. I have tried multiple times and received multiple codes, all of which I have entered in the required timeframe and none of which have let me have access. It doesn’t give me the option to input my password, if I delete it and reinstall it still goes through the same ‘send a code and input it’ cycle and when I tried to close it down and start a new account I got a verification email with no actionable information. Very disappointed.

Aspect Ratio

Annoying as the Aspect Ratio keeps changing and it goes in and out of focus.

Hijacks devices!

When casting, I turn off the TV and it turns itself on again!!! I need to go to the app, re-connect and stop casting from the app in order to be able to trim my own TV off!! What is the purpose of this, besides being incredibly annoying and unhelpful as a busy parent???

security issue with email OTP codes

email subject line is not not secure, not encrypted. iview should only send the OTP login code within the email body which is protected by TLS encryption.

Closed captions are necessary

Some things don’t have closed captions. I find this app audio too quiet compared to all other media apps I have so especially need subtitles that match what is being said. Without closed captioning some titles cannot be veiwed if people require cc subtitles for assecibility.

Can’t login on my phone. Login code sent and put in but won’t take me to the app

Uh oh

Keep getting error message of “uh oh, having trouble fetching your profiles”

Keeps logging me off

And when I logged back on it reminded the show I was watching. I can’t watch tv like this!

Pointless

Waste time wrestling with rego and login. And then the dawning that there’s nothing of interest.

So Slow

Since the latest update the whole App is much slow and often unresponsive. Not my Internet provider because all other apps are working well.

Princess

I had to same plopped

I love iview

But the number of times it makes me log in is cruel and pointless.
